  1. Someone said when you visit your inlaws, pretend you're going to the toilet, turn on the phone recorder, and leave the phone on your seat. LoL.....
Truth is, you may actually hear some nasty stuff from them. But to what end? Even your own family members, if you do same with them, wetin you hear, go shock you. Dey play!
I don't believe in going all out to gather unnecessary information that will mess up my joy and sanity. I'm a firm believer in TIME! Eventually, those who are fake around you, time will reveal them. Even those who have spread malicious lies against you, Time will expose them.
One of the things we can NEVER have control over, is how people talk about us.
No dey stress yourself for people talk.

    3. My sister in law tried this with every single one of us and we caught her. Up till now nobody likes her and she doesn't even know why.
She pretends to always forget her phone beside you and would come to pick it up later. She only forgets when two or three people are around and talking. She would walk in and leave her phone very close to you and wouldn't come back to take it. One day she came and took her phone from underneath my pillow that she forgot it there.

I was gisting with my brother about my private matter so It pained me because I was discussing my life's issue. We don't even talk anymore I blocked her.

Ali B I'm with you on this one. I'm not interested in hearing anything that will mess up my mind. I am cordial with my inlaws and that's fine. I don't share my secrets or plans with them, I don't tell them about my friends or family members, so what would they possibly discuss about me that will make me feel betrayed. None of them is my close friend.
Patapata they will say they don't like me, I'm proud, I'm this and that, it's fine. People talk about people, let them talk.

Get A Hold Of The Word!!
    John 1:1-3.

"Everything was made by the Word, and without the Word, nothing exists. This understanding reveals the limitless power of God’s Word. When you get a hold of the Word, you can do anything."

"Psalm 107:20 says, “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. The Word heals, saves, and delivers. It brings hope, healing, restoration and answers to life’s toughest questions."

    Prayer!!

Dear Father, I thank you for the power of your Word, which is creative and transformative. As I meditate on, and declare your Word, I create a life of victory, health, and success. Your Word is at work in me, producing results that glorify you, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

  3. As we journey into this new month, the Lord says:" I will go before you and make the hard places smooth. I will break the brass doors to pieces and cut through their iron gates. I will give you riches hidden in darkness and the things of great worth that are hidden in secret places (Isaiah 45:2-3)
Oh lord may this month be our month of rising and shining. We shall be at the top like a city on a hill that cannot be hidden in Jesus name.
Every doors of long time success that has been close against us shall be opened this new month in Jesus name.
Lord, as we go this month, ignite within us a holy passion and fire that cannot be quenched in Jesus name πŸ™
May the light of your truth illuminate our parts and bring us to the saving knowledge of your Son. In Jesus name we pray.πŸ™πŸ™

  4. GOD AND MONEY (3)

Naked I came from my mother, and naked I will return.' Job 1:21 GWT

Here's what Job said about his great wealth: 'Naked I came from my mother, and naked I will return' (Job 1:21 GWT). Job understood that we all enter life with our hands empty, and we all exit life with our hands empty. The only thing we can take with us when we go is what we have sent ahead. Jesus talks about this: 'Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in Heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also' (Matthew 6:19-21 NKJV).

When Jesus referred to treasure, his audience would have understood that he was referring to clothing, food or money. Rich people wore the best clothes, but moths could tear holes in them. Rich people ate the best food, but rats and worms could consume it. Rich people owned silver and gold, but since there were no banks, they stored their money in their houses. But because houses were made of clay, thieves could conveniently reach through the wall and rob it. What Jesus was saying was 'Don't put your treasure where it can be damaged, decayed, or done away with.'

A pastor writes: 'Jesus doesn't want your money. It's already his. Jesus wants your heart. But since your heart always follows your money, he wants you to surrender your money, your wealth, your stuff to him.' When you do that, you're investing in eternity instead of time.

  8. Yesterday, going to Onne seaport, I passed through Port Harcourt express way and I saw Dozzman Oil filling station with no one therein but locked. This is a new filling station slated to start operation the very upper week before the owner (Dozzman) was murdered in cold blood.

For some seconds, I pondered about life and its vanity. Life is a fleeting shadow and the scary thing is that, any day might just be our very last on earth.

Dozzman wouldn't have believed if his death was foretold. It was such a painful loss to the Arochukwu community in Abia State. May his soul find rest and may his killers never find peace on earth.

According to multiple sources, Dozzman happened to be a former boy to Sobaz. Both men from the same community in Abia state. Dozzman had gotten into the oil business, worked with Sobaz and just like his boss (Sobaz) who has many filling stations spread across Nigeria, many believe he will achieve that same feat as well with time.

On that fateful day, Dozzman was in Sobaz's car when the killers struck. They shot Sobaz's driver dead and his escort. Dozzman was also shot at. Sobaz was later said to be kidnapped and released weeks later. There has been different interpretations and narratives about the death of Dozzman. He was shot to death at the spot. So anyone could say if they feel and think it's a calculated and a planned assassination.

But the big question is if we're to go with the assassination plot, who could have done this? Who want him dead???

    Only God has that answer..

My heart goes to those he left behind. His death is so painful and the burial will further cause more grief to his friends and loved ones.

A dream cut short. So devastating.

Coming back home. When my in-law narrated how it all happened during his kidnap, till this minute, we haven't stopped thanking God for what he did for us. Some persons stayed weeks even month before their release. Some didn't make it alive but God made it possible for us to have him back same week it all happened. Kidnapped on Monday and released on Friday.

In fact, fear gripped us heavily on Thursday night when we didn't see him after the money was dropped at the designated area my sister was instructed to drop it. After dropping the money around 10pm, they waited till 1am mid morning before going back without seeing him. Probably the kidnappers waited so they could count the money all through the night before releasing him in the morning.

That Thursday night, I was constantly calling to confirm situation report to a point they stopped picking my calls. They thought he would join them that night but were disappointed and went home angrily when his line they used to call them went off.

On Friday morning, they were still at home waiting to receive call from his line when he walked in. I heard there was shout of joy from everyone. His 3yrs boy and little sister were so excited to see their daddy. Innocent kids who didn't know what happened.
All through the time, it was his phone they were using to communicate to us. After the short calls, they'll switch it off I guess to avoid tracking. He was given back his phone without the Sim card which he had now blocked and retrieved.

Due to the kidnap issue, our plans for Mom's celebration on Sunday(Mother's day) was suspended even though we do celebrate her everyday. She understood. In fact, she was the one that suggested it even when we wanted to do it low key and added a Thanksgiving to it of my in-law release.

The Thanksgiving will be planned to appreciate all who prayed and supported in a way. Pls whatever you do, always be security conscious. The rate of kidnapping and organ harvesting is at its all time high. No passing day there won't be report of kidnapping in Nigeria. Our roads aren't safe anymore. The villages are becoming worse.

May we not be a victim of circumstance.

    Good Morning Guys.

  12. Lenten Reflection – Day 25: Mercy that Transforms
Verse for Meditation: "Because of the Lord’s great love, we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness." (Lamentations 3:22-23)

    Reflection:
God’s mercy is not only about forgiveness—it is also about transformation. His love renews us daily, giving us a fresh start every morning. Paul experienced this when God changed him from a persecutor of Christians to one of the greatest apostles (Acts 9:1-6). No one is beyond God’s mercy, and no situation is too broken for His grace. When we truly embrace His mercy, it changes how we see ourselves and others.

    Action Steps:
    • Accept His Mercy: Stop defining yourself by past mistakes.
    • Walk in Renewal: Live as a new creation in Christ.
    • Extend Mercy to Others: Share the love you have received with those around you.

    Think About This:
How has God’s mercy changed your life?

    Prayer Points:
    • Thank God for His mercies that are new every morning.
    • Pray for the ability to show mercy to those who have wronged you.
    • Pray for transformation through the grace of God.
    • Pray for the gift to live each day as a reflection of God’s love.

    Let us pray
Pray with in these words “Lord, thank You for Your mercy that renews me daily. Transform my heart and help me to live as a reflection of Your grace. Let Your mercy shape my actions and attitudes. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

What is meant for you will arrive in your life and it will remain in your life. What did not transpire was not meant to. The end of that journey would not have led you somewhere you would wanted or needed to be. If you are really honest with yourself, you know this on inside. There were so many signs that you willingly brushed over in the heat of blind hope. If you spend your life fixated on the might-have-beens, you miss out on the steady currents that have carried you all this way.

  36. “Blessed (happy to be envied) is the man who is patient under trial and stands up under temptation, for when he has stood the test and have been approved, he will receive (the victor's) crown of life which God has promised to those who love Him”
    James 1:12 Amp

There is a victor's crown for all believers, who stand up in faith over
    temptations, trials and tests.

Trials of life are instruments for growth, maturity and promotions for the believer who holds on to the word of God in spite of circumstances.

Paul told Timothy his spiritual Son, to learn to endure hardness as a good soilder of Christ.

Our faith matures, develops, and are made stronger when trials of any sort come our way.

The scripture further enlightens...if your strength fails you in the times of adversity, your strength is small.

You can't amount to much with flabby ration or weak supply of spiritual strength... God's Word ought to be working actively in you.

  44. I laugh when I see young girls naked on social media all in the name of gaining followers. It's a pitiable life style. Does it mean they do not have mother, sisters, brothers and the likes who are also on social media to correct them?. This generation of girls has sold their birth right to the devil.

I pity the innocent man coming for them
