Laura Kanu was at the center of accusations, two ladies accused her of being a two-faced b#tch.
Mariam was the first to accuse Laura of pretending to like her (Mariam) and then go behind and bad-mouth her. She accused Laura of gossiping her.
She also mentioned the issue of Laura mocking her and when she retaliated, Laura wrote her a memo on her(Laura's) page. The memo was shown.
The issue is that in Season 1, Carolyn accused Laura of being a runs girl when they fought. She claimed Laura was being pimped to men.
In season 3, Laura made a silly joke about Mariam's fight with Faith Morey in Season 2. Mariam during her diary session, talked about the joke and asked how Laura would feel if she also mentioned the runs girl accusation by Carolyna. This angered Laura and she went on her own page and wrote a memo to Mariam after the show, questioning why she said that.
At the the reunion, Laura claimed it hurt her because anytime she has a fight with anyone, they always use that runs girl line to get at her and she had expressed her hurt to Mariam in the past.
Mariam however said Laura was upset because her own comeback was harder than Laura's own.
They refused to apologize to each other and the moderator, Uti moved on to Carolyna and Laura. He asked where they were in their relationship with each other.
Laura said whenever she is getting to know Carolyn and see how it goes she would start a fight. She said Carolyna sent her a message and threatened to beat her up anywhere they meet because Laura gossips her to other ladies, the message was shown. She however said Carolyna cannot overpower her and beat her.
When asked, Carolyn said Laura was two-faced. She claimed Laura came to her and told her to beware of Sophia and Mariam. The same Laura also went to Sophia and told her to beware of Carolyna and Mariam. LMAO.
She said Laura would gossip and jam heads among the ladies, then come and laugh with them all I'm public. Chai!
Laura tried to explain herself, she said she loved Sophia so much *rolls eyes*
She said she didn't want her to insert herself in other people's fight and she only warned her to ignore other people's battles and fight her own battles herself.
When Sophia was asked whether she believed Laura said that, she said prefers to sit on the fence cos she likes both ladies, she said Laura told her to be careful.
Omo, see Laura that I was beginning to like o. Kai! So she was just doing cho cho cho everywhere, trying to jam heads and then come and pretend to be nice and cool. Omo!
Sophia too is a hypocrite. She told Carolyn what Laura told her in private and when confronted in public, she said she likes them both bla bla bla and refused to own up to what she told Carolyn about Laura. She sef get her own for body.
Uti moved to Carolyn and Dabota's fight. Carolyn was asked why she poked Dabota's nose. She said she was enraged by Dabota's accusation that she(Carolyna) slept with Dabota's ex husband. She said Dabota sounded like she slept with him when she was a married woman and that she knew the man when she was single and only met him once, 10 years before Dabota even met him. She denied sleeping with him back then. Dabota said she only said that to get back at Carolyn because Caro brought up the issue of she (Dabota) dancing in her (Caro's) matrimonial home which was 8 years back. Carolyn brought back the past, so she too brought back the past. Okay, the equation was balanced.
Well, Uti warned everyone to avoid violence as it was not tolerated on the show.
Sophia dropped a bombshell, she said she heard rumours that Dabota's mall was rented and she did not own it but she did not use it to insult her. Then Dabota interrupted and said she leased the space, it was not hers. Oturugbeke!
The same mall that Dabota was boasting that she built in 2018 abi I didn't hear well? LMAO. (Yes Dabota claimed she owned that mall and im shocked to read she leased it ::HMMMM LORI IRO
One good thing I heard was that Dabota and Adeola's friendship on the show paid off. Both of them were being invited together to speak at international gatherings. They have both travelled to Qatar, France, London, etc. They also said their friendship inspired many other friendships. (Story oh, they will soon fight)

ReplyDeleteThe Real Housewives of Lagos Season 3 reunion was a complete anti-climax—flat, underwhelming, and lacking depth. Uti, as the host, simply did not hit the mark. So many crucial questions from the season were left untouched, and there was little to no follow-up where it mattered most. The entire reunion felt overly focused on imported drama—fights and beefs that happened off-screen and outside the show—leaving viewers, especially those outside Nigeria, confused and disconnected.
DeleteI really think it’s time for the RHOL team to change the production crew. The execution of this reunion was poorly done. It didn’t consider the broader audience who may not follow all the behind-the-scenes drama. For example, the tension between Caroline and Dabota could have been unpacked better, but instead, it was reduced to vague jabs with no real resolution or clarity.
Now, I love Caroline—but she played right into Dabota’s hands during the reunion. In the end, they both came off as even, when Uti should have pressed Dabota more with tough, fair questions. Sadly, emotions took over and clarity was lost.
Season 3 itself was quite flat, especially compared to Seasons 1 and 2. Honestly, it feels like some of these ladies were begged to come on the show. The content was shallow and too celebrity-oriented, when it should’ve focused more on real life. Let’s not forget—it’s a reality show. We want to see more of their actual lives, not rehearsed drama.
Also, most of the cast are single mothers, with only Mariam and Laura still married. The show needs fresh blood—powerful, real, influential women who are actually living that “housewife” life. Not just popular names, but women with authentic stories and lifestyles to share.
For Season 4, the RHOL team needs to go back to the drawing board and come back stronger. We want a helluva show, not another watered-down season like this.
This one was Real Beauty Business Housewives of Lagos..They only came to sell their market....I hope the organizers read all our comments and take note...

Yes, Laura is too face. Laura tried to pay it safe this season and it boomeranged. She should have let herself go and damned all consequences, she doesn't have it in her to sit on the fence. I bet the fear of losing her marriage was responsible for it, and the runs girl scandal too.
Caroline is something else,, she's self absurd, jealous and come across as condescending. She also cannot take half of what she dishes. The things she often shows off is her body, beauty and unlimited vocabulary of insults.
I like Sophie except that she's reaching. Trying to form what she's not. The chic is low budget but she has a very warm personality.
Dabota, I have no words. She has similar personality traits as Caro so I don't see them settling their misunderstandings.
Overall, the show was good but fell short considering previous franchise.
I love your take, but I have to respectfully disagree when it comes to Caroline. She’s not a bad person at all. Caroline loves deeply and fiercely, and because she’s very emotional, she tends to react strongly when she senses any form of disloyalty. She expects people to have her back the same way she would for them—and when that doesn’t happen, she pushes back hard.
DeleteThat said, my issue with Caroline this season is how much she centered her former marriage again, just like she did in Season 1. At this point, she really needs to let that chapter go. It’s starting to feel like she sees her past marriage as her only identity, and that’s concerning. She genuinely needs support—possibly even therapy—to help her move forward and rediscover herself outside of that experience.
Also, she allowed Dabota to get under her skin and play her emotionally. If the host had asked deeper, more balanced questions—especially toward Dabota—I believe many viewers would see that Dabota isn’t any better. Unfortunately, that opportunity was missed.
