Someone had gone anonymous to share how her decency and prayers have positively shaped her life, but instead of encouragement, some people were trying to twist her story or pressure her into thinking otherwise. If she had said she married her grandfather at 17 years and enjoying the luxury of life, some will tap and retap.
This is exactly why I always advise people to be cautious about who they share their testimonies or dreams witt because the hearts of many are desperately wicked. Some have the mindset that if something good isn’t happening to them, then it shouldn’t happen to anyone else either.
They forgot God is the ultimate planner. He shows mercy to whom He chooses. That it does not work for you does not mean it's not working for others and will still work in times to come.

The jealousy yesterday scared me ehn. I suddenly realized a some people prefer to hear unpleasant stories about others in order to show fake love and concern but do not like positive stories.The way all the positive stories were attacked I learnt something yesterday honestly. keep your good news to yourself. But I like that she shared her story because it was a beautiful read. I was just angry the way she was responding to the haters. She should have just pressed ignore on them.

Before, then he always looks angry when other friends succeed and wouldn't congratulate anyone when there was a good news. In my mind when I was like, no wonder!

DeleteIf you see the way he always wants others to celebrate with him, always sharing his positive stories, but when it is other people's turn for him to celebrate them, it is a problem for him. He will quickly change the topic to something else or act disinterested while you do the talking, and he would just be looking at you, so even you would be forced to change the topic because he would not even be excited for you.
I noticed I was always trying to make myself small around him, always hyping him up so he won't feel like he is not enough, just for peace to reign, but when he made that statemnet, i realized it was in his blood, so I just bounced.
Are you minding them? They were trying to make it look like she was bragging. If she had said, she slept around, did plenty abortions, slept with other women's husbands and even snatched her friend's boyfriends but eventually married a virgin man who is wealthy, doesn't cheat and worship the ground she walks on, have beautiful kids etc they would say congratulations and none would remind her there are others like her who had same lifestyle but are suffering. Yet the moment a good, decent and beautiful lady(I am sure yesterday's poster is very beautiful 😘) does the same thing, they would try to humble the person and make it look like she is bragging and looking down on others. Reminding her of what I don't know.

DeleteI carried my mirror outside yesterday because my room was dark. While I was using the mirror, I remembered that my food was on the fire, I quickly rushed to go check on it, from there I started washing the dishes , that's how I forgot that my mirror was outside. When that morning breeze blew, the mirror fell and my heart skipped, I wanted to cry, thoughts crept in my mind like, oh my God, expensis akariala! So I will have to go and buy another mirror? Only God knows how it will cost now, I've been trying to cut cost and now this will make me spend again. I didn't even rush out to go and check the mirror, because what's the need ? As I was thinking and imagining, I remembered a story someone told me about how his father fell from upstairs but didn't sustain injury both internally and external. That's how I started proclaiming it on my mirror that if an elderly man fell without sustaining injury then it is very possible that nothing will happen to my mirror. When I wanted to go and poor away dirty water in the water channel outside, I looked at the mirror facing flat on the ground and removed my face immediately and continued with my proclamation. "If that papa could fall from storey building with no injury, then nothing will happen to my mirror, I won't have another thing to spend money on because of my carelessness, my God, you won't allow this happen to me...😢" This is a big standing mirror and it's has wooden frame, by now mirrors will be costlier.
ReplyDeleteI passed again for the third time and looked at it very well this time and I didn't see any fragment of it around there and I was like "why didn't the particles scatter... ?" I raised it up, lo! and behold! No scratch, even the tinniest scratch that you can imagine. Nothing happened to it even considering the high place it fell from. Oh my God, you do this one .

The man persuaded me so much that I almost cried but help back my tears with all my might.lol. His words of encouragement are so soothing, in every of our conversation he striked with the right words that my spirit needs.

ReplyDeleteDuring a severe drought in Israel, king Ahab and his wife Jezebel promoted the worship of Baal,a Canaanite deity, while the true God was neglected.
Elijah,a prophet of the Lord,confronted the situation by challenging Ahab to gather all the people of Israel, along the 450 prophets of Baal and the 400 prophets of Asherah (another Canaanite deity) on mount Carmel.
Elijah proposed a test to determine which god was real,two bulls would be prepared.One for each side and the people would call upon their respective gods to send fire from heaven to consume the offerings.
The prophets of Baal, desperate to prove their god's power,chanted and danced from morning to noon, even cutting themselves with knives and lances,but Baal remained unresponsive.
Elijah,after preparing his altar and having it soaked with water,prayed to the Lord,asking for fire to consume the offering and prove his power, God answered with fire from heaven, consuming the bull, the altar, the wood and even the water surrounding the altar.
Witnessing this miraculous display of power, the people fell on their faces and proclaimed "The Lord, he is God, the Lord, he is God.
What's that challenging situation before you? The ruler of the universe can still turn it around for your good, psalms 125:1-2, "Those who put their trust in the lord are unshakable",call on HIM, just like Elijah did.
