  1. When Baba Buhari was president, every MAJOR appointment carried a Hausa name. Man made sure his people got almost all the juicy positions.
Pa Tinubu is president now, and every time a major appointment is made, na Yoruba name you go hear.
Sadly, the next president will likely toe the same line. After all, there's a solid blueprint left by his predecessors.
You'd think there aren't capable people from other tribes, that could handle these positions much more effectively and efficiently. But no, "I must make sure say I put my own people". SMH!
Whether we like it or yes, this country is TOO TRIBALISTIC to develop properly. Each tribe thinks it is superior to others. We keep preaching about our Unity in Diversity, and the fact that we are one, but in reality, we just dey whyne awasef. Better whyning sef!
We have a long way to go in making Nigeria a truly great nation. πŸ₯ΊπŸ˜’

  2. Heavenly Father, we thank you for another wonderful Monday morning.
Is there yet any seed left in the barn? Until now,the vine and the fig tree, the pomegranate and the olive tree have not borne fruit "From this day on I will bless you."(Haggai 2:19)
Beloved of God, the Lord, our great provider does not operate with humans policy, budgets, season or time. 5. The Blessing Is In Doing The Word!!
    James 1:22.

"To be a doer of the Word means to put the Word into practice, to act on what it says, and to live according to its truth. It is not just about “obeying” God’s instructions; in Christianity, we don’t merely obey the Word we do the Word."

"Commit to being a doer of the Word and it’ll produce in and for you what it talks about."

    Prayer!!

Dear Father, I thank you for the transforming power of your Word. I’m a doer of your Word, and its blessings are manifested in my life. Thank you for the grace and wisdom to continually walk in the light of your Word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

  6. These are the days of Elijah
Declaring the word of the Lord
And these are the days of Your servant Moses,
    Righteousness being restored.
And though these are days of great trial,
Of famine and darkness and sword,
Still, we are the voice in the desert crying
'Prepare ye the way of the Lord!'

Behold He comes riding on the clouds,
    Shining like the sun at the trumpet call;
Lift your voice, it's the year of jubilee,
And out of Zion's hill salvation comes....

    Have a fruitful day, Lovelies!

  7. CONQUER THE FEAR OF FAILING

'The Lord holds them by the hand.' Psalm 37:24 NLT

Every opportunity in life comes with two things: the possibility of succeeding, and the possibility of failing. When you reach the end of your life, your greatest regrets won't be over your failures, but the opportunities you failed to seize because you were afraid of failing.

Here are some principles to help you conquer the fear of failing:
    (1) Be willing to try and fail at something. And when it happens, tell people. Why? Because that's how you discover failure isn't fatal.
    (2) Find a project so big that you cannot do it without God's help, then commit to it.
    (3) Socialise with some impulsive types. Observe how they take risks without dying. Seeing and imitating is a great way to learn.
    (4) The way we learn to take big steps of faith is by taking small steps of faith. Compliment someone you don't know. Volunteer for an additional task at work. Go out of your way to help someone in need.
    (5) Declare war on perfectionism. Instead of waiting until you can do it perfectly, do your best and tell yourself, 'That's good enough for now.'
    (6) Be afraid, and obey God anyway.

You will never totally defeat your fears, but you can diminish them to where they have less control of your life. Here's a promise to stand on: 'The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand' (Psalm 37:23-24 NLT).

  9. Lenten Reflection – Day 29: The Power of Stillness
Verse for Meditation: "Be still, and know that I am God." (Psalm 46:10)

    Reflection:
We often mistake activity and noise for progress and productivity. In the busyness of daily life, it's easy to confuse motion with meaning. This Lenten season, I invite you to pause. Be still before God.
Let His presence renew your strength, refresh your soul, and guide your steps. Stillness creates space.
It helps you notice the small, sacred details of life. It opens the door for God to speak to us and move on our behalf – without us getting in the way.

    Action Steps:
    • Set aside moments of quiet reflection each day.
    • Practice silence before God, listening more than speaking.
    • Resist the urge to fill every moment with distractions.

Think About This: How often do you truly take time to be still before God? Have you ever tried being silent in time of prayer to listen before God?

    Prayer Points:
    • Thank you for His love which drives Him to speak to you all the time.
    • Pray for a spirit of peace and stillness.
    • Ask God to teach you how to hear His voice in silence.
    • Pray for trust to rest in God's timing and plans.

Let us Pray: May the Lord, help you to be transcend the level of the noise around you so as to be still before Him today. Receive the grace to enjoy divine peace and confidence to trust in God’s perfect plan. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

  24. If as a guy you do fraud, you have no moral rights to try to shame a prostitute.
Thief and prostitution go hand in hand..
A yahoo boy is a thief,. don't let laptop deceive you..
A runs girl is a prostitute, don't let the packaging deceive you..
When a guy goes bad, he gets involve in illegal things - stealing, kidnapping etc etc
When a babe goes bad, she gets involve in immoral things- prostitution, dressing naked etc etc
A thief is commensurate to a prostitute..
Same way verbal abuse by a woman is commensurate to physical abuse by a man..
So when telling men to not hit a woman, you balance it by telling women to bridle their tongue and not insult men..
And when talking about the menace of prostitution, you balance it up by talking about the menace of stealing (yahoo)..
I'm beginning to believe we have so many badly behaved women because of the badly behaved men too. Men need to behave accordingly and then demand what they want the society to be..

Women are no longer virgins because men started marrying oloshos ..
Reading that pastor Funke post, I think last week Wednesday, I was like shuuuu so we no get virgin babe for this blogπŸ€¦πŸΎπŸ˜±πŸ™†πŸ½‍♂️πŸ˜‚ see as babes just dey talk about pleasurable sex and different styles.. A queen and more weh never marry yet oh.. AHH! But it's the same way guys openly discuss yahoo too ..

Omo make everybody just do better..

All boils down to the stvpid leadership tho, I believe if we get it right with a good leader, things will get better,. That's why I always give side eyes to those supporting Agbado, you know yourselfπŸ™„,. And also why I hate two pretender here too,. Who supported bad leadership due to tribalism,. If to say na say them dey see money from the government I for still understand, but tribalism? Or supporting rubbish due to religious bigotry.. Omo your case is irredeemable and you should stay very far away from me.. you go support evil finish,. The evil will make everyone broke, and you'll still carry yourself to be shamelessly applying for giveaways.. if I swear for you this early morning ehn you no go fit escape am.. Nonsense

  25. What is a reasonable salary to pay a domestic staff whose primary job is to clean the house? She lives in the house, so eats 3 times a day as others. Even if the other adults aren’t eating, I make sure she has her meals. She doesn’t necessarily cook, except for things like fry eggs or plantain or chips which she and the children eat and this is not a daily thing. There’s a washing machine, but she also hand washes some things. She has her free time to watch TV or rest during the day when she’s done with work. She also does market run. She also helps to supervise the children when they are home - not homework, but just to ensure they pick up after themselves and to have an adult’s presence when they are playing. The last one I had in 2024, I paid 50k and was wondering if this was fair and to just build on this now.

  27. As a branch is dependent on the vine for nourishment and life, we too must remain deeply rooted in God’s presence for spiritual vitality. This requires more than just occasional moments of reflection or prayer; it’s about making God’s presence the very center of our lives.

When we live in constant awareness of His nearness, everything shifts: our decisions are more aligned with His will, our relationships are more filled with grace, and our daily challenges become opportunities to experience His strength and guidance. A presence-centered life means we no longer isolate the things of God into specific moments but carry His presence with us into every interaction, decision, and circumstance.

As we live this way, we bear fruit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, and all the fruits of the Spirit. It’s in His presence that we are transformed into the likeness of Christ and become a reflection of His love and power to the world around us.

"If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you." – John 15:7

  49. So, I watched "Love In Every Word" over the weekend. And I must say that, the movie IS NOT WORTH THE HYPE. Some scenes were unnecessarily dragged. Considering the hype, I was expecting to see "Wow moments"instead, I found myself fast forwarding some scenes abeg.
As I watch am finish, I just use one oyinbo movie console myself.
    Make una no vex o

    2. Same here. People love fairy tail too much. And ones people see a very wealthy and generous man they begin to find themselves loving the person and everything around the person unconditionally. I have noticed this amongst people.

I kept wandering why I am not seeing what's making people go crazy about the movie.

    3. I am not a fan of Nigerian movies. But when there is always talks about some movies, I try to watch it. But you those YouTube movies, they are nothing to write home about. So, so overrated 😠. I couldn't even watch half of the "love in every word"
