As you head to work today, have it at the back and front of your mind, that no matter how HARD you work, you are not indispensable. If you die, they'd employ someone else to replace you ASAP. No go kee yourself because of any company.

KEEP TRUSTING GOD

'Though he slay me, yet will I trust him.' Job 13:15 NKJV

The story of Job reads like this: Chapter 1, he is one of the wealthiest men in his generation. Chapter 2, he loses everything, including his health, his wealth and his children. Chapter 42, he is back on top again. Wouldn't you like to know what happened from chapters 3 through 41? If so, you should read the book of Job and find out how he had it all, lost it all, got it all back and ended up with twice as much as he lost. Did Job have unanswered questions? Lots of them. Did he experience grief? Yes, to a depth that is hard to imagine. But Job never changed his mind about God, and God never changed his about Job. This Scripture best shows Job's attitude: 'Though he slay me, yet will I trust him' (Job 13:15 NKJV).

If you're stuck at a place you don't understand, don't give up - on God or yourself. When you don't understand your circumstances, and it feels like they're more than you can bear, stand on this great Bible promise: 'You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for in...the Lord, is everlasting strength' (Isaiah 26:3-4 NKJV).

Trusting God doesn't mean he'll answer all your questions, but that he will give you 'perfect peace' regardless of the circumstances. Trusting God does not mean that you won't struggle, but that he will give you 'everlasting strength'. So, the word for today is - keep trusting God, and he will bring you through this.

Lenten Reflection – Day 35: The Humility of Christ
Verse for Meditation: "And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross!" (Philippians 2:8)

Reflection:
In our journey as believers, we often face choices that shape the course of our lives and future. Jesus, though the Son of God, chose the path of humility. He exchanged heaven’s throne for a manger, divine authority for a servant’s towel, and eternal glory for the suffering of a rugged cross. His humility wasn’t weakness—it was strength wrapped in love. As we draw near the end of this Lenten season, let us remember to walk in humility, just as Christ did. May our fasting, prayers, and sacrificial living throughout these 40 days not be in vain, but a reflection of the humble heart of our Savior.

Action Steps:
• Practice humility by listening more than speaking.
• Celebrate others’ successes instead of comparing.
• Serve someone today with no expectation of recognition
• Reflect on an area where you need to embrace humility.

Think About This: How can I model Christ’s humility in my relationships and choices?

Prayer Points:
• Give thanks to God and the Lord Jesus for His example of humility.
• Pray that God will remove the spirit of pride from your heart.
• Pray for the grace to follow Christ’s example on a daily basis.

Something happened to me that I'm grateful to God for. I have been battling discharge for sometime now , have treated both traditional and English and was planning changing panties and go for thorough treatment this April. So l listened to Apostle Joshua Selma's miracle service of March after three days, and during the declaration, he mentioned that we placed out hands on anywhere there's pain. And l placed mine on my vagina area and that was all. After about three days l noticed the discharge has vanished and it's been 10 days today and l can't stop thanking Messiah God.

The Weekend was quite a busy one. To add salt to injury, the Power holders came to disconnect our cable from the Pole citing by pass as offence on one of the prepaid meters in the compound. Thereby cutting off the entire compoud light, funnily most people had gone out that morning they came around. 3days straight ... No Nepa light 🥲 only able to sleep due to cool weather at night.
With this holiday mode, can't sit at home jonzing 🙄

On Saturday last week I had an encounter with some young Fulani herders in one of our farms that has left me with profound insights into the ongoing clashes affecting many communities in Nigeria. As I spoke with them, it became increasingly clear that the issues we face are far more complex than what is often portrayed in the media or discussed in public forums.

The ongoing conflicts between farmers and herders are frequently painted as a pure farm destroyers, bandits, kidnappers, but this is only a surface-level understanding. Beneath it lies a tangled web of political machinations, corruption, and deep-seated greed that many of our leaders, traditional heads, and even some members of the host communities exacerbate.

During my conversation with these young men in their twenties, they spoke candidly about their struggles. They highlighted the challenges of climate change, dwindling grazing lands, and the rising cost of feed. These herders are not merely a faceless group; they have their stories, injustices by the owners of those cows, and aspirations. Yet, the repeated violence and clashes in communities are often manipulated by political elites seeking to gain favor or consolidate power.

I couldn't help but notice how the traditional heads sometimes align themselves with certain factions for their gain why money exchanging hands, some youths lias with them to carryout criminal activities neglecting the broader implications for their communities. Some of them foster divisions rather than unity, either out of fear, greed, or the desire to maintain their own power. This exploitation of trust and communal bonds fosters an environment where violence can thrive—a reality that is both heartbreaking and enraging.

Additionally, the corruption that festers within certain segments of leadership cannot be ignored. Resources intended for ranch or settlement for them often vanish into the pockets of those in power.

As I reflected on this encounter, I recognized that the path to resolution lies not merely in addressing surface-level disputes but in tackling these deeper issues. Real dialogue is needed—one that involves all stakeholders, where herders are treated as equal partners in the conversation about land use,and community development which they are willing to.

My experience has illuminated the necessity for transparency and accountability. If we want to achieve peace and coexistence, we must break the cycle of corruption and greed that has long dictated the lives of so many in our country. Only then can we hope for a sustainable resolution to these challenges, fostering an environment where both herders and farmers can thrive together in harmony.

This encounter was more than just a moment of dialogue; it was a wake-up call to the realities that plague our communities. Both the herders and the farmers deserve better than a political system that exploits their differences. As responsible citizens, we must advocate for change and demand accountability from our leaders to pave the way for a more peaceful and equitable future.

Note: have we for once ask why now, meanwhile these guys were co leaving with our ancestors without wahala. May God help us.🙏
