  1. When dating, and the relationship has reached it's elastic limit, there's no need to force things.
When your partner starts avoiding you, doesn't pick your calls, is always angry, sick of your sight, insults you at the slightest provocation, and even refuses all your pleas to even talk things out, what other sign do you need?
You deserve better. And life is too short to waste on someone who doesn't rate you at all.
Don't ever force any relationship. And you certainly shouldn't beg to be loved by anyone.
Meanwhile, there's someone out there who'd literally worship the ground you walk on. May God help you find that person. You deserve a happy, fulfilling relationship. #YouFirst πŸ’―

  2. CALLED TO BE SALT AND LIGHT

'You are the salt...You are the light.' Matthew 5:13-14 NKJV

Jesus gave us two everyday metaphors to help us understand how he wants us to serve and represent him each day. Let's look at each.
    (1) Salt. The only thing that can threaten salt is sitting in a shaker so long that it gets damp, loses its flavour and can't be sprinkled. Jesus said, 'You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavour, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men' (Matthew 5:13 NKJV). The word 'flavour' means to enrich. It's not enough to enjoy good preaching and rich insights from your Bible reading; you're called to share and sprinkle them on others.

    (2) Light. Instead of isolating yourself from the world, you're supposed to illuminate it. Darkness is not a threat to light; it's where the light does its best work. Jesus said: 'You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven' (Matthew 5:14-16 NKJV). The word gospel means 'the good news'. In a world of increasing despair, you are called to bring the light of the gospel to those living in spiritual darkness.

So, the word for today is - be salt and light.

  3. Stay In Gratitude!!
    1 Thessalonian 5:18.

"Thanksgiving is how you position yourself to see the manifestation of God’s power at work in your behalf."

"Thanksgiving keeps your focus on God's sovereignty and provision, not on the challenges before you.
No matter what you face, stay in gratitude, knowing that God's will for you is perfect and leads to glorious outcomes."

    Prayer!!

Dear Father, in every circumstance, I choose to give thanks, knowing that your plans for me are always for good. I refuse to allow frustration, confusion, or depression to have any place in my life. My heart is continually filled with gratitude, and I walk in the manifestation of your blessings every day, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

  8. Lenten Reflection – Day 33: The Gift of Grace

Verse for Meditation: "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God." (Ephesians 2:8)

    Reflection:
In life so many things can be bought or afforded either by using money or other means of exchange, however, there are things which are indispensable for a complete life experience and yet cannot be paid for by any means, they can only be received. One of such is GRACE! God’s grace is a free and unmerited gift, not something we can earn. Lent is a time to reflect on this divine gift and express gratitude for it. In our weaknesses, grace upholds us, reminding us that we are loved beyond measure. While it’s impossible to pay for grace, we can “pay forward” grace by extending God’s grace through our contact with other people.

    Action Steps:
    • Acknowledge God’s grace in your daily life.
    • Extend grace to others as God has shown you.
    • Let gratitude guide your words and actions.

    Think About This:
Are you extending grace or hording it? Are you lift others or oppressing them with the grace of God on your own life?

    Prayer Points:
    • Thank God for His saving grace.
    • Ask for the grace to extend forgiveness and kindness to others.
    • Pray for a heart that recognizes and appreciates divine grace daily.

    Let us Pray:
God of grace, thank You for Your abundant grace given to me. Help me to walk in the confidence of Your love and extend that same grace to those around me. In Jesus name, Amen.

  21. Men,

I pray for us this cold beautiful morning. Oh God, do not let our d**k be our end in life. May it not be the reason for our fall in life. Give us self control over lust. Above all, may our good deed not bring us danger and regret in life. Amen.

How could you have picked up a homeless woman you don't know anything about, took her home to stay with you cos you saw her stranded?. From two days she told you, she has now stayed over three weeks now.

The whole thing still looks like a movie to me. Still shocked of what happened last night.

    She's now blackmailing him....

Only God can save this neighbor of mine as it stands now what this woman confided on me she would do to him. She has vowed to leave his house only on one condition else they'll have to carry one of them corpse.

This same lady I still remember almost lured me into sleeping with her barely three days I had just got back home from my stay at Umuahia. But God still loves me, I didn't fall for it even after seeing a full blown nakedness of her.

    Abeg story too long eeeh.

    Crazy world........ Mad people everywhere.

Early this year, one tried that rubbish with me. Met her at a bar that evening, she begged me to buy her a drink, I did, then she asked if she could sit with me, na so she begin long story of how she's homeless, how she hope she could get a place to sleep that night, how she slept in in front of a shop the last night, how she came to sit at that bar in the morning and has been collecting drinks even though she has no money to pay, and how the waiter is already threatening her that he would chain her up if she doesn't pay up blah blah blah..

I asked the waiter, the guy said she's a mad lady that she's been drinking different brands and when he asks for money she'll say she'll pay, that she must pay the money cos he won't use his salary to.. I asked how much, he said the price, I paid. Then I scolded the werey lady.. as I say make I dey commot, na so werey sef carry bag say she dey commot.. AHH! This one dey mad ni.. I ask am where she dey go, she says she just dey commot since I dey commot too.. I say okay..

As we reach outside, na so she begin beg me say whether she fit follow me go house make she fit shower.. the kind bad eyes wey I give am ehn.. I tell am say aunty I no sabi you, I no want wahala this night abeg,. Werey come dey tell me say she got give me everything I want if I take am go house shower, say she promise to leave that night.. I just gave her small thing, wished her good luck and told her to run along.. funny thing is the lady spoke well, asin very educated.. and na Akwa Ibom babe, beautiful too, said she was 39 years but she looked better than most 33s..

But God no go make me lose my sense because I am offered goodies.. in everything, I always weigh the pros and cons, if the cons pass the pros,. Count me out abegπŸ™πŸΎ

With no children from the union, she's looking for a fresh start. She's currently visiting family members, including my mum and siblings, in the outskirts of Abuja. With only a secondary school education, she's interested in exploring housekeeping or caregiving roles, very hardworking and respectful woman too.

  37. There was an engineer who decided to fix electricity in a rural settlement. He decided to do this, for his love for the community. After fixing the poles and wires,he was very pleased the community could finally get electricity after a very long period of them living in total darkness. He went home very happy but returned back to same community with his workers next day and found all the wires and poles scattered all on the ground. "Maybe a heavy wind blew it and scattered all over the ground " he thought to himself.

He decided to fix it up the second time then went back home. He returned next day and noticed same thing. He went to report to the community leader, so they needed to summon some certain people in the community to know what was actually going on.

Some group of men went to him secretly and told him, "look here engineer, we will never allow you to fix electricity in our community because it is disturbing our movement at night.we can easily move around in the dark than in the light.we have been living and enjoying our darkness for a very long time in our community, so take your poles and wires and leave our community." The engineer left the community very sad.

Oftentimes when people despise you because of your act of kindness, (Luke 6:22), do not be sad, instead pray for them, realize such men are under the influence of Satan and his agents whose aims are to bring sadness to men.

  50. Yesterday, I decided to buy meat(beef) to cook dinner.
Got to the meat seller and told him the amount I want, he cut the 3k meat, it was 10 pieces, three pieces were bones. Omo, I told him to replace the bones with meat or else I will walk away. I asked him why he was so heartless, you cut 10 tiny pieces of meat for 3k and included 3 bones, so wicked.
He started telling me how expensive cow is , bla bla bla. I just walked away, he called me, I ignored him.
Went to another meat seller who gave me 11 pieces without bone.
    Some sellers are just wicked.

  51. There's this news of the best graduating student in Lagos State University (LASU) being rewarded with #10million by Lagos state governor.
If that girl was my child, I would let her learn a skill and start a business with that money instead of searching for a job.

  53. As the week comes to a close, take a moment to reflect on your achievements, big and small. Each step you've taken has brought you closer to your goals. Remember, it's never too late to start something new or to pursue your passions. Embrace the weekend as a time for rest and rejuvenation, and prepare to step into new challenges with renewed energy and enthusiasm. You've got this!..πŸ’ͺ... TGIF
