It’s amazing how the people especially friends and family you go all out for and carry their matter on ur head but the few times you need them, you will never see them.
ReplyDeleteI remember when I wanted to start this content creation and I told some of them about it. They were very excited about it and promised heaven and earth how they will help promote and push my page.
Okay, I have started now, the best they do is like when they can, no share and no ‘pushing’ like they promised. Even the like sef is when they feel like.
I knew if they were in my shoes, I would have taken the matter personal. It’s now people that I don’t know from Adam that have taken it upon themselves to do all they can.
I never need financial help from anyone but this little way that doesn’t require much money to support, they are nowhere to be found.
I really have been pushing it behind me as not a big deal but it really hit me today that I do too much for people that will only do the barest minimum for me. And the part that even hurts me more is that despite this realization, if they still need something from me, I won’t still stop myself from doing it!
I realized this when I lost my mum,I expected some of my friends to come condole with me especially those that we stay in the same city cos it was a trying moment for me but what I got from most of them was a phone call once and that was it. These are people that if reverse was the case I will close my shop, leave whatever I'm doing to go stay with them but they never came to know how I was coping,I had to ask my husband if I'm overreacting but he simply told me that I'm not overreacting but the truth is that they did not value me the way I value them and since then I have cut a lot of people off and I've decided to put me first and value only the person that value our friendship
