Justice Jude Onwuegbuzie of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court, Apo, Abuja, on Monday April 28,2025 dismissed an application filed by former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele, seeking to reclaim a vast estate in Abuja comprising 753 duplexes and apartments.
The estate, located at Plot 109, Cadastral Zone CO9, Lokogoma District, Abuja, measures 150,462.84 square metres.

I didn't really follow up the story but the little I read doesn't warrant this much punishment if compared to what I have seen other politicians do.

This is really sad, and what’s even sadder is that a so called educated person presumably a university ‘graduate’ feels a corrupt public official has not stolen enough to deserve this level of punishment. So now in Nigeria, it is a race for who is worse.
