  1. No I won't. I will only pass if you answer correctly by your own reasoning and not answering verbatim from my lecture notes

  2. The focus should be on the questions asked for everyone, since the student has decided to do something different, it's a failure then.

  3. It depends but by default, I won’t. If you went in for an appendectomy and the dr did sth else, how would you feel? It’s giving Madam no network vibes abeg.

  5. Where did the student get the different question? I don't understand.

  6. I can decide to give the student an half mark.

If the scores for that particular question is 20, I will score him/ her 10 because I feel the student was just overwhelmed or nervous but if he answered more than one incorrect question, that means it was deliberate. He or she failed.

  9. If you pass the student and the student graduated through that way.
The Student will still carry that same attitude to labour market.
What if the student is medical doctor graduate he/she will administer HBP drug to a LBP patient

No please. The lecturer wants to assess the students based on the particular questions asked, to ensure they understood those particular topics.

It's just like asking someone - what is the name of your school? And the person answers - my name is John.

  12. Answer the question and don't answer another question because I will mark you zero.

I can dash the student 1 or 2 marks for his/her effort, I prefer the student to answer a different question from the one I asked than submitting a blank answer script.

  24. No, I won't award any marks to the student.
So that next time he or she will pay attention to the question booklet. Obedience and attention to details is a a good life skill that each student should inculcate.
    The instructions are there,
"read all questions carefully before attempting them."

  27. It all depends, at least few marks for the fact that you were present during the exam is something. ๐Ÿ˜œ
This has actually happened to someone in a Nursing School during their PTS Exam. Students were grouped in groups and was given topics to present on. For example their topic was on small intestine.
During the exam a particular question (probably one assigned to another group) was asked. She knew nothing on that and instead of her to submit her booklet leaving that particular question blank she wrote in details what she knew about the small intestine and went ahead to answer other questions as supposed. She was lucky the lecturer awarded her some mark because he knew that she read her book from what she wrote but was not able to answer that particular question. The lecturer made reference to that incident while addressing some students. I guess it was just GOD'S GRACE.
I have also met two medical students who said during one of their medical exams an external examiner from another state who doesn't know anything about them (make person no come talk say na bribe) asked them from what topic do they want him to ask them questions. It's an oral exam. And when they picked a topic the external examiner asked them questions relating to that topic they choose.

For me, I ain't leaving my book blank, NO WAY! I go just write "English" relating to that question and truly God dey help me earn small small marks from there.
Omo... Make I go read I dey start exam next week, no Easter break for me.
    SDKers pray for me.
