  2. No matter how feminist try to spine the narrative, there can never be gender equality. That's how God created it. One is the head and the other a helper.

  4. What we ask for is equity, we are not equals at all so I can't ask for equality...that can't happen because the world is not even balanced...

  12. There will never be gender equality anywhere - the narrative is wrongly represented. But before you crucify me, I will base my opinion on the context of marriage. So let’s be honest - this whole idea of “who should do what” has quietly raised generations of daughters to sit still and wait for the other gender to handle life as if their own dreams, gifts, and voices don’t matter. I remember my older cousin once said, “If I’ve got a purpose, why should I give it up just to fit into someone else’s idea of who I should be - leaving a void unfulfilled?” And he was right. Purpose doesn’t knock politely or wait for permission - it pushes through.

And I understand the physical disparity, but what about our intellectual capacities? We weren’t born just to blend in; we were born to become. And the moment we stop seeking approval and start walking in that truth, we don't just change our lives - we rewrite the story for everyone watching. And attract what has a work for us to incubate - the issue is that we overstretch it sometimes. Because we’re wired differently is no excuse to trap people in boxes dressed up as tradition. These so-called “roles” have kept too many stuck in silence, slowly suffocating under the weight of expectations. Whereas times have evolved, we are yet stuck in outdated beliefs which have transitioned from gender into partnered unions for better fulfilment of family objectives - without forgetting primary responsibilities.

To ask people to play their roles efficiently is not attainable or sustainable in the course of the new age in the majority of homes. This makes gender equality not about pretending we’re all the same - it’s about allowing each person the space to live, love, lead, or step back without being told they’re out of place. Roles may sound tidy on paper, but in real life, they often tighten like a noose. Life is far too messy and unpredictable for rigid scripts - positioning oneself to step up, only when it is convenient. So the real question is: are you respecting someone’s individuality - or just scared to let them author their own story? Equality isn’t about boxes, please. It’s about giving each other the room to breathe - and become.

I apologise for any error in my thoughts.
