Actor Fredrick Leonard is blowing hot after going through the comment section of a post he made on instagram and has concluded that people who have sense are not in the comment section and they are also not found on social media.
He said “I was just going through social media and someone had just put up a post sharing his view and opinion on something and then I was going through the comment section. I usually don’t go through comment sections because I have come to the conclusion that those who actually have sense are not in the comment section.
People who have sense are not on social media, but then I saw this lady wanting to make a submission but her submission started with an insult. Calling someone who is old enough to be her father ‘an aging fool’ that was how she started her statement before she now even bothered to make her point.
I clicked on the lady’s profile and unfortunately or should I say fortunately she was following me but I blocked her that is just terrible what social media has become. I am in the block zone this period. You do anyhow you collect whether on my posts or someone else’s’ post”

Why speak of something you know nothing about and then generalize at same time. Do you want to compare some trolls in North- America to the ones in Africa, dream on? Here in Canada, you have comments from trolls that put companies out of business, makes folks commit suicide, get politicians to step down from their position, make ordinary people get a retraining order from total stranger, cause innocent people depression and make giant media houses like yahoo and msn block comments on post. And here you are saying non-Africans trolls are better. Some of them have been trolling tragically before the inception of trolls.

ReplyDeleteHaving thick skin is necessary if you are a public person and if you have an open profile on social media. Even ppl who are not celebrities get trolled, trolling is not reserved for celebrities or the wealthy. I remember a lovely woman who was running a blog on recipes and family life got trolled for the condition of her pots. This was an average working class person as far removed from any glitz and glamour as could be. The pots were similar to the pots in millions of homes, but some fools decided to go in on her. Ppl are just horrible.
