One of the truly crazy things in life, is people deciding how you should mourn your loved ones. LoL
Just cos you cry and roll on the floor for weeks, to mourn your loved one, doesn't mean others must do so to prove that they loved theirs. As a way of mourning, some isolate themselves. Some socialize. Some just wanna party to forget the pain. Some might even want to travel far away to take their minds off it. And so on. Whichever way you choose to mourn, is your business, as long as you don't hurt yourself or anyone else.
Bottom line, stop wailing more than the bereaved. The person didn't bring the mourning to your doorstep. Why then do you feel the need to act as judge as to whether they mourned sufficiently or not? Na wa!
This is also similar to a widow or widower deciding to remarry, and people start forming judge and jury on the 'acceptable' number of months or years they should wait, before remarrying. SMH.....
E dey always sweet to judge matters, until e happen to us, then we go start to find reasons to justify awa own. It is well.

When you put your trust in Jesus Christ as your Saviour, God sees you 'in Christ'. When God looks at you, he doesn't see you with all your flaws and imperfections; he sees you in Christ. And since Jesus has atoned for all your sins, you are 'accepted in the Beloved' (Ephesians 1:6 NKJV).

Having a blessed future is not contingent upon how much you strive to be perfect or how hard you work to change yourself. It's contingent upon the person of Jesus Christ, and the fact that you are 'in Christ'. The Bible proclaims, 'As he is, so are we in this world' (1 John 4:17 NKJV). You say, 'But surely you only get what you deserve?' That's true, unless you are in Christ. Then you get what he deserves! 'For he made him [Jesus] who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in him' (2 Corinthians 5:21 NKJV). The word 'righteousness' is a legal term. It means 'to have right standing before God'.

Vine's An Expository Dictionary of Biblical Words defines righteousness as 'that gracious gift of God to men whereby all who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ are brought into right relationship with God.' In other words, your right standing before God is based on Jesus' right standing before God. You should be glad about that. Why? Because the only righteousness that measures up to God's exacting standard of perfection is the righteousness of Christ. And since you are clothed in his righteousness, you can be confident of God's acceptance and walk in his blessing each day.

Good morning Guys,

Yesterday afternoon my younger sister and last born called to ask me what does it mean if a number keep saying not reachable? I told her it's either the person's phone is switched off or at a place of no network. I asked who's the person? She said her husband. I told her not to worry it could be network. She said no, it can't be. That her husband isn't someone who will drive out in the morning and won't call her at noon to check up on them. Again, his phone hasn't for once went off.

I said Okay. She shouldn't worry over that, he will return before night fall.

At 7pm yesterday, came that call that my sister's husband has been kidnapped. It all happened in the morning and we weren't aware. The person with him on his car wasn't taken but him alone. It was at night the person traced my sister's shop to inform her of what happened since morning.

This is really terrible. I know it's all a set up but involving police now may escalate the situation. I have told her to rush to bank this morning and block all his accounts. Though she said he went out with his ATMs. Probably, they would have made transfer of the funds in his account.

At night, they called demanding 50m.. Someone who knows him is behind it all.

Pls guys, put us in your prayers over this. Let God protect and make him come out alive.

Lenten Reflection – Day 18: Overcoming Temptation
Verse for Meditation: "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear." (1 Corinthians 10:13)

Reflection:
Temptation is a universal struggle, but God provides a way of escape. Even Jesus was tempted in the wilderness (Matthew 4:1-11), yet He overcame by relying on God’s Word. This Lenten season reminds us to be vigilant, recognizing that the enemy seeks to weaken our faith. However, God’s grace strengthens us to resist and walk in righteousness.

Action Steps:
• Identify Your Weaknesses: Be honest about the areas where you struggle and seek God’s help on such areas.
• Fight with Scripture: Follow Jesus’ example and use God’s Word to resist temptation.
• Seek Accountability: Surround yourself with believers who encourage you in righteousness. You can also engage like-minded believers as accountability partners to help you make progress daily.

Think About This:
What is that one temptation or area of struggle you need God’s help about today?

Prayer Points:
• Thank God for always providing a way of escape.
• Pray for the strength to resist temptation.
• Ask for wisdom to recognize the enemy’s schemes and keep safe always.
• Pray for a heart that desires righteousness above all else.

Let us pray:
Say with me “Lord, strengthen me in times of temptation. Help me to stand firm in Your truth and resist anything that draws me away from You. Keep my heart focused on what is pure and pleasing to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Ever since they changed all the service codes and made it same codes for all networks (312 for data) I stopped using it but after seeing your comment, I tried it and I got a very good data deal.
However, I noticed my hubby could not get as his own did not bring the 'smart data' option which is the best for great deals. My eldest daughter also got a good deal. Imagine 39Gb for 8k for 30days. I have been wasting money since few months ago. Kai!
