Charles Weigle was an itinerant evangelist who enjoyed travelling and preaching, despite the rigours of the road. His wife, however, grew disillusioned with her frequently-absent husband. One day Charles returned home to find this note: 'Charlie, I've been a fool. I've done without a lot of things...from here on out, I'm getting all I can out of what the world owes me. I know you will continue to be a fool for Jesus, but for me, it's goodbye!' He was stunned, and depression swept over him like a tidal wave. One day, sitting on his cottage porch, he contemplated suicide. A voice within him whispered, 'Your ministry is finished. No one cares.'

But another voice pierced through the gloom: 'Charlie, I haven't forgotten you; I care for you.' Instantly Charles was on his knees, rededicating his life to Christ. Later he wrote the words of one of the most beloved of all gospel songs: 'I would love to tell you what I think of Jesus, since I found in him a friend so strong and true; I would tell you how he changed my life completely, he did something that no other friend could do. No one ever cared for me like Jesus, there's no other friend so kind as he; no one else could take the sin and darkness from me, o how much he cared for me.'

I don't know if it's just me alone that have this school of thought but i'm not a fan of juicers because they extract only the water sometimes which contains a lot of sugar and leave behind the fibers, which are rich in dietary and nutritional benefits. By discarding the fibers, we're missing out on essential nutrients like fiber, vitamins, and minerals that are crucial for a balanced diet. Plus, fibers play a vital role in digestive health.

for me I think it's better to eat whole fruits and veggies to get the most nutritional benefits.

Some people make doing good difficult. They will swear with their ancestors grave when they need a loan from you. You will not believe what you will hear when you want your money back.
Be careful of those that swear to pay you the next day when collecting loan especially when the need for the loan does not involve health.

It's been ages I commented on SDK but it's one place I can share my thoughts anonymously. I got a devastating news yesterday, a customer of mine drowned yesterday, it's just unfortunate because it's exam season and the boy had three tough courses from today till Friday so I wonder what pushed him to the river yesterday. He's not even 18 yet and his life was just cut short.

when directing someone to someone stop telling him that she can hustle well she can bring food to the table to avoid immediately they meet you will start looking for the food and got disappointed when they couldn't find it, allow them to dictate by themself🙄🙄

Will never forget when one person said I was envying my friend because I said hearing she and her family praying at night when they came to spend the holidays with us was the ginger I finally needed for my family and I to start our night devotion.

I like this kind of envy sha because reading the Bible and praying with ur family is another flex I can't even remember. You can't even ask Alex to prepare for bed without her reminding you that you have not read the 'book' and pray'. 'You got to read the book, mum', she will say in her tiny voice.

Who else is busy 'envying' their friends?

It's a beautiful day.
My fellow Muslims how's the fasting going?
My mother in-law called and told me she fasted for two days and almost fainted, she is 69. I now told her that if she cannot do it, she is excused from fasting cos of her age. She now said she will keep doing the fasting but will break by 2:pm instead of 7:pm. That this month, God answers prayers more and she has many prayer requests concerning all her children and their families.
Ameen to all prayers in this Holy month.
