ReplyDeleteVerse for meditation: "Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you." (Colossians 3:13)
Forgiveness in the Bible is not only about healing relationships but also about freeing oneself from the burden of anger or bitterness. It is an active choice and a vital aspect of living a Christ-like life. Forgiveness and grace are deeply intertwined because both are central to God's relationship with humanity and His expectations for us as believers. Lent is a time to release bitterness and embrace grace even as we seek grace from God in this season. God has forgiven you—will you extend that same grace to others?
Action Steps:
Step 1: Recognize the Weight of Unforgiveness: Holding onto grudges only drains your joy. Forgiveness is not excusing the wrong but freeing your heart.
Step 2: Follow Christ’s Example: Jesus forgave those who hurt Him—can you do the same? Let His love soften your heart toward those who have wronged you and stop waiting for them to repent before releasing yourself from the bondage of hate and bitterness in which unforgiveness keeps you.
Step 3: Act Today: Pray for the strength to let go and let God. Trust God to bring healing in His perfect way.

Who do you need to forgive today?
How does forgiving someone bring freedom to your soul?
Prayer Points:
• Thank God for the forgiveness He has given you.
• Ask God for a heart willing to forgive.
• Pray for healing from past hurts.
• Request strength to extend grace to others.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, help us to let go of bitterness, anger and past hurt. May the Holy Spirit teach us to forgive as You have forgiven us. Let Your peace fill our heart and cause our healing to begin in earnest. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
