ReplyDeleteHow can anyone compare Choir to Gospel singers/ artists. They are very different and they don't function in same category.
ReplyDeleteGospel singers compose, produce and market music, choirs don't. Choir use the songs of gospel artists in their churches. Choir,ushers, prayers warriors are church workers, Gospel artists are not. Gospel artists are more like celebs, and influential, that's why we are happy 😁 when they are invited to our local church.
I heard people saying "use choirs in your church", Choirs can never replace gospel artists,they are very different from each other. Our Choirs are always with us in our church not gospel artists. Church workers are people who have decided to work in the house of God but have their businesses or careers which is their main source of income. Music wether gospel or secular is a career on its own. Gospel singers are those who choose to use their own talents to serve the Lord, they give us kingdom songs and also minister through their songs about Jesus. Without them we would probably lack songs to praise and worship the Lord with. Gospel musicians are like leaders to choirs, even choirs themselves look out for the coming of a gospel artists to their church and are very excited. Choirs watch out for the release of new songs by Gospel artists and use it in their local church. Choristers and Gospel artists are two different sets of people, and can't be compared. Choirs can never take the place of a gospel artists.
People pay to go watch the fave perform, people people to watch movies at the cinemas, some of these cinemas are owned by Christians,why don't they do it for free? Do Christian doctors work for free? Do Christian teachers teach for free etc. So why do we want gospel artists to work for free?
The Christian doctor and teachers you put there spoilt everything. Doctors are not ministering in the name of God. It's not a spiritual exercise so they can't be compared.

ReplyDeleteI'm tired of living most of the time and the only thing that has been making me to hold on is because I don't want my daughter to suffer in this life when I'm gone.
From struggling to sickness, and buying drugs.
I went to the hospital yesterday concerning my myom and the doctor was telling me if they find another thing from fibroids, they will have to remove my womb, I was still contemplating on that one, before another one happened.
I'm doing POS and I've spent all my money on practicals, drugs and test, trips to hospital, I even had to borrow money on loan app just to be doing the business, because I can't just sit down at home doing nothing when I have a lot of responsibilities.
I didn't even have any hope of going to the market yesterday because after transportation to hospitals and buying drugs, the money remains only 31k which wasn't even enough to do anything until my brother lent me 80k to use till Tuesday.
One mind was telling me to go home and rest after leaving the hospital but another one was telling me to go and hussle since I had cash to use, not knowing I will regret it, it's not as if I even have a stand or a place I use, it's hawking and shouting "POS, withdraw, transfer".
On reaching the market, the aboki that gave me money didn't give me complete money and I didn't notice despite the fact that I counted it, I couldn't process it until 3 hours later and he denied not giving me complete money, even though the money was a little amount which is 10k but that money means a lot to me, especially at this point when I have a lot to do with money and the money was even a borrowed one.
I couldn't sleep soundly because I was thinking about a lot, not only because of the money but every other things happening to me.
Reading this just soured my mood.....I cant even begin to imagine how horrible life must be for you......were you born sick or you developed all these illneeses along as you matured??? You talked of daughter, do you have a partner???????????

DeleteI wasn't born with any sickness, I was even born hale and healthy, apart from malaria once in a while.
DeleteIt's fibroids and even though the fibroids are not big, they come with a lot of troubles and discomfort, from fever to serious stomach and pelvic pains, to heavy bleeding, to being anaemic, I was rushed to hospital on emergency twice last year because of it.
I'm not paying for the surgery because it's free, a certain university is celebrating her anniversary and is doing medical outreach, just tests, drugs and buying of blood which I pray not to, because doctors told me that if I use the drugs prescribed to me and eat some certain foods before the surgery time, it's possible I won't need blood transfusion.
I'm a single mother and I don't have any partner.
I have blog 🆔 and I can prove it that I'm the one.
