This is a sad story that happened in Owerri........
A 64-year-old man identified simply as Barr. Donatus, a private school owner of Par Excellence school, situated at Area World Bank Housing Estate, Owerri, Imo State, was arrested Monday March 17, 2025 by Imo state security operatives for allegedly shooting and killing a Junior Secondary School(JSS1) student of Urban Secondary School, World Bank Housing Estate, Owerri .
The Student jumped into his compound to retrieve the ball he was playing with his school mates during sports break and on sighting the boy the man took his pump action and shot the boy two times on the leg and buttocks, and he fell down from the fence.
The boy has reportedly died after undergoing a surgery.
Oh no. RIP to the young man.
ReplyDeleteChai!
ReplyDeleteWhat a life!
Now he will spend the rest of his old age in prison
Wickedness of highest order . I pray he gets same judgement.
ReplyDeleteOMGππ
ReplyDeleteMay his soul rest in peace π
Omg π³ this is a heartless human.
ReplyDeletehe is an animal. what risk did the boy pose to him for goodness sake?
ReplyDeleteNo risk at all just a wicked man
DeleteEh oh!π±
ReplyDeleteWicked Mr Donatus .
ReplyDeleteThe mistake the little boy made was jumping through the fence, may his soul rest in peace.
Parents, please advise your children never to jump into somebody's compound without permission because any action the person would take will come with a defense that they thought the person was a theif.
ReplyDeleteYou're right yo some extent but the man is a very wicked man. Do you know how a JSS 1 student will look? No matter how much of a big stature he might have. Secondly, he must be on the school uniform by that time or is the man not familiar with the uniform of the school just beside his compound? Lastly, I'm sure the boy was not harmed, why is shooting him the first thing that came to his mind when he posed no threat to your life or family in a broad day light? Evil soul he his
DeleteMay God rest the soul of the boy and comfort his family and friends
Chai so this small boy later died
ReplyDeleteMay his soul rest in peace

ReplyDeletePls firearms should be prohibited where minors are....more harm is usually done.
Dear child, may your soul find peace with God π
Oh dearπππ
ReplyDeleteTeenagers will always be Teenagers, what most of us did as Teenagers still defies logic till date. The man is a complete moron, why shoot at anyone during the day ? People need to be more reflective before taking any action.
ReplyDeleteAnother life wasted for nothing ummmm rip π
ReplyDeleteI doubt if the police will do the needful.
ReplyDeleteNigeria where culprits go free after their evil deeds.
Same World Bank a pharmacist killed a man in a fight just because he parked in front of his pharmacy.
The pharmacy was sealed for some months after which the pharmacist resumed business like he didn't commit murder.
The truth is that we just need to be careful and desist from careless things that may end ones life. No point waiting for justice that hardly comes.
This country called Nigeria is not fair to the lower class.
May Karma visit that barrister; even if he suspected the boy was a thief. He was in a school uniform for Pete's sake and that showed he was harmless. Whatever happened to reporting him to the school for him to be punished.
How about us that children jump into our compound to finish our mangoes and agbalumo? So we should buy guns and kill them all.

Sad one. Probably caused by fear. The insecurity over there is grossly underreported. People are so scared
