DeleteSeeing in one of the UK tabloids yesterday that Pep is set to return to Barcelona for three days to reunite with his wife before the divorce proceedings was quite emotional for me. If wishes were horses, I would have wished the wife withdrew the divorce papers. Despite his team aging and all the tired legs, I believe this divorce news seem to have tore him apart. It is well. In England, no huge surprise in terms of result, the game between Manchester United and Arsenal witnessed some fireworks but then, they all settled for a 1-1 draw. Chelsea had to dig deep to secure a 1-0 win against one of the whipping boys of the league in Leicester City. It's no news that Liverpool won and are strolling to the title, congrats to them in advance. Routine win in Spain except for Atletico who collapsed at the 88th minute and lost 1-2 against Getafe from a winning position. The biggest result in the entire Europe for me was Atalanta decimating Juventus 4-0 away from home with Ademola Lookman grabbing the 4th goal. Bayern loosing at home on Saturday when they were marking their 125th anniversary was another embarrassment for the Bavarians with Komoany looking Clueless as usual

Lenten Reflection – Day 5: Trust in the Journey
ReplyDeleteVerse for meditation: "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Trust is…
• A Confident Reliance: It means to believe in someone’s or something’s reliability.
• Built Through Consistency: It grows over time from repeated, honest actions. Each small act strengthens your faith.
• Letting Go of Control: Trust is releasing the need to manage every detail. You choose to have faith in the process.
• In our context: Trust means relying on God’s wisdom even when the path isn’t clear. Trust in the LORD means believing that His plan is greater than our own.
As we continue to travel this narrow path, God is inviting us to the place of trust. We need to learn to lean in to trust God in practical terms. This day is a reminder to let go of the urge to control everything.
Action Steps:
Step 1: Release Control: You don’t have to carry every weight on your own. Let God take the wheel—even if His route seems strange or surprising! You too deserve to be helped. (Check lyrics for “What a friend we have in Jesus”)
Step 2: Embrace Divine Guidance: Trust in God’s wisdom when your path seems foggy. Be deliberate in asking for Divine help as you go in familiar and new terrains. Lean on His insight instead of your own limited view. Seek God’s face in prayer and through His Word. (Recall Psalm 32:8-9)
Step 3: Cultivate Patience: Persistence over time equals trust. True trust grows with time and gentle persistence. Allow God to guide you step by step, even when the pace is slow.
Think About this:
Where are you holding tight to control?
What small step can you take today to let God lead?
Prayer Points:
• Give thanks to God for guiding you through difficulties and challenges in the past
• Pray for the courage to release the control to God and trust Him with every part of your life
• Pray for grace to go at God’s pace and with His timing in your life.
Let us pray:
Almighty God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, help us trust You with all our heart. Free us from addition to control and guide our paths as we continue our journey with you. May Your peace fill our hearts and lives in Jesus’ name, Amen.

I remember telling a guy I didn't want to have sex before marriage and he stopped talking to me because, according to him, sex is an integral part of every relationship and he could not cope without it but I remember that same guy insulting baby mamas. Isn't that hypocritical?if you support them closing their legs like I was trying to do would they have babies outside of wedlock? Anyone who sees nothing wrong with fornication but think being a baby mama is wrong is just being a clown. You want them to keep aborting while they rupture their wombs or swallow pills like they are taking supplements till they suffer from infertility? After a while they would want to have the babies out of fear of ruining their chances of being mothers someday or are we going to pretend condom is 100% safe?
The only one who have the moral justification to talk is someone who has a high moral standard and shuns sexual immorality. If you are one please go ahead, I support you.

I will read the blog, then read my Bible and sleep a little before I go for school run in the afternoon. These days, sales is very slow but we thank God for keeping us.
I'm gathering all the money I can lay my hands on, so from tomorrow, I will start buying fruits for sale this fasting period as there is no one selling fruits on my street. Just those hawking in the evening. This provision and food stuff business is slow these days due to fasting.
The Hausa man at our Bus-stop has described the area in the fruit market where I can get them cheap. I'm looking at banana and watermelon. I will go there tomorrow morning and buy the quantity that the cash can buy. I see how they gather in front of the Hausa man every evening.
If you can get dates. I hear that's what Muslims use to break their fast.
