Which law says we must bathe morning and night?
You hear people saying 'oh she is dirty, she doesn't bathe at night 'Bathing twice daily is not a MUST.
You bathe according to the weather where you live.
I was in Canada for two weeks back in those days, my host did not bathe for three days because it was extremely cold. She only brushed her mouth and cleaned some parts of her body. Finish! I'm sure some 'abroadians' will relate to the above.
Here they would say "boil water and bathe if it is cold". You will boil water and bathe at minus 4 degrees Celsius twice daily?
You won't be able to do it except you have a heating system that extends to your bathroom.
What I'm saying is that, you bathe according to your weather.
Here in Nigeria, it is mostly hot with a few months of cold, during this cold period, depending on the nature of your job, bathing once daily is fine. If you work as a mechanic, farmer, etc, you may consider bathing after the day's work since our cold weather is not extreme. You can boil water and bathe.
With due respect I disagree. I live abroad and even during the coldest months of winter I bath twice a day, morning and evening. The only times I bath once is when I'm sick. I usually catch influenza every year for a week during winter and even at that I use the bidet and also wash my armpits if I feel too sick to bath twice in a day. Yours are all excuses. Cleanliness is godliness. If you bath only once a day I'm sorry but you are dirty, no matter where you live.
ReplyDeleteNot to mention once in 3 days. Ewww
DeleteMr poster, just say you're dirty. Shikena.
DeleteMe no matter the weather I must bath morning and night, some times self if I'm at home I bath 3times a day..
ReplyDeleteHmmm..
ReplyDeleteHow will I exist without bathing..I will boil water and bath..
Bathing more than once a day,is ideal for self-love and care. Not necessarily for anyone. 🙄🙄🙄
ReplyDeleteIt is just common sense to bathe two times a day. There should be no debate about this. Do people not eat three times in day? Does this have to do with the weather? I think we sometimes use wokeness to find explanation for everything.
ReplyDeleteAkporoghene.
Akproghene, who told you that you have to eat thrice a day? If I am correct, you grew up knowing that but haven’t thought to find out where it stems from. Ideally, you should eat only when you are hungry but we have been brainwashed to overfeed and say you have to eat thrice a day. As long as you aren’t doing heavy lifting jobs aka farmer and construction worker, you have no business eating thrice. The truth of the matter is that as kids, you are to eat multiple times a day but where our parents failed it is that they didn’t transition the feeding habit when we got older. About bathing twice a day, who told us that as well? As long as you aren’t living in a hot climate, you have no business bathing more than once per day cos you are literally stripping the natural oil from your skin. Tomorrow is to start looking for skin care to add moisture after you did that to yourself. There are a lot of things we just grew up doing without clearly understanding why we need to do them.
Delete14;01 where should I send your kisses to?
DeleteLeave these brainwashed Nigerians to be yarning opata.
Imagine saying boldly that you must eat thrice daily and bathe twice daily .
Like the poster said, who made the law?
This man is very funny. Today's own is how many times you should bathe depending on weather...Well if you care about your hygiene and personal grooming; how many times to bathe a day will not be a top conversation.
ReplyDelete🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 he is just a vibe. I enjoy reading his column even if I don’t agree with him 😂😁
DeleteBathing especially before going to bed rejuvenate, it gives satisfaction vibes 🤣. So it's very important we bath at least twice a day.
ReplyDeleteLol, bathing according to the weather.
ReplyDeleteThe law of hygiene says we must take our bath morning and night.
ReplyDeleteI agree with this
DeleteWhich law of hygiene?
DeleteThe one made by your Nigerian forefathers?
It all depends on your lifestyle and work. People who exercise regularly and obese ppl may even need to jump in the shower three times a day. Some folks take a shower every time they have a bowel movement and they train themselves to only have it at home. Some folks must shower after cooking or if they have been out on a hot day. Old people are the ones who hate water the most and will even go days without bathing, then some of them have that old ppl smell that can be so nauseating, they don't need to bathe twice daily since they are mostly inactive, once a day is enough.
ReplyDeleteYour head is correct 💯
DeleteBathing Morning And Night is Very Important o..
ReplyDeleteHello iya Boys
How about women in their monthlies?, do they skip bathing twice cos of minus 4degrees Celsius cold?? Like someone wrote up there, cleanliness is next to Godliness .
ReplyDeleteTodays chronicle no Dey follow.
ReplyDeleteAnd I bet that person you lived with in Canada was a Caucasian because how’s cold weather a reason not to bath ? When hot water is coming out of the taps just like cold water? Boil water where ?!
Which hovel did you go and live inside that you have to boil water to bath ?!
The place you stayed doesn’t have common hot water coming out of their pipes?
Must have been a really derelict place.
We live in abroad and we bath twice in a day whether winter, summer, spring or autumn so yes bath at least once in a day ! It’s best hygiene practice.
You Nigerians have warped mentality. The whites don't reason like you people.
DeleteI agree with this write-up. You bathe twice daily during cold weather depending on your job, only if your job requires you to.
ReplyDeleteNigerians carry their mentality abroad. Move with Caucasians abroad and see if they have your mentality. The writer clearly mentioned cleaning some parts of the body if you ain't bathing twice.
Some people in this comment section bathe three times daily , yet they smell like male goat.
Cleanliness in the mud.
Lol @the comments. Everyone should do what works for them, though I share the poster sentiment.
