Yes, I totally agree with Angela. You owe people respect & politeness also decent dressing....same way they owe you those and much more. We can't all live alone by ourselves on earth, so for that single reason dignify people you meet everyday.

I live in London and whenever I dress up with my long gown and wear my hat, people call me Madame, offer me their seat and give me an endearing little grin as they pass me.
ReplyDeleteSo many people including whites have told me that when they go to Paris and couldn’t speak French that they would be treated a certain way. But I dress decently in Paris and always wear my hat and people are very respectful and kind to me.
Telling me “belle dame, comment puis-je vous aider”.
So Yes we owe our society and people around us a lot.
