  5. I had it in all my pregnancies, I even threw up in the labour room. Chewing ice block gave me some relief. Thank God there is more awareness about it due to social media and internet unlike my time

  8. I experienced this during my first pregnancy, i do not wish for any woman.

I nearly loose my job because of this - vomited for 9 months - yes 9 months - nothing stayed in my tummy - always on drip. Worst part nobody understand what I was going through, they said I was lazy.

    1. Calling a pregnant woman lady is stupid, sorry for what you passed through. May GOD BLESS all the mothers.

    4. I dislike it when they say a pregnant woman is lazy!

I know someone that stayed in the hospital all through her nine months pregnancy journey. It was only her hubby that stood by her. The rest were just calling her a lazy woman.

  11. This happened to me in all three of my pregnancies. I lost the first one, and for the second and third, I was hospitalized for over three months. Even swallowing my own spit would make me vomit. It was such a terrible experience—it made me hate pregnancy.

But thank God, it all ended in praise! I now have two beautiful kids. Still, the thought of pregnancy scares me like nothing else...

  14. I never had morning sickness during my pregnancy, and also never felt any pain. It was way easier than I expected because I was so afraid of being pregnant. I am thankful for that experience.

  15. I think this is what actress Ruth Kadiri was trying to preach in her movie "African Husband".

  16. I think as a world we just need to start giving special privileges to pregnant women and start recognizing that it is tough. We do not treat pregnancy with the level of caution and concern that it should be given.

  17. I had this condition during my first pregnancy. I was always in and out of hospital with the vomiting nob stop. I became slim like a broom you could see my bones. Eventually miscarried at 16 weeks after all I went through.
