Money must be spent
Money must be sent on an errand.
You use money to make money and that usage must be in spending!
Your money has to leave your hands and enter another hands for it to return to you.
If you are afraid of spending money, same money will be afraid of coming to you.
The igbos have an adage that says; Ana eri aku, aku ana bia meaning when you eat money, money will be coming.
Even the Bible said there’s time for everything! There’s time to save and time to spend. There’s time to invest and time to flex.
Denying yourself necessities all because you want to save is a poverty mindset. There’s a difference between saving money and investing money.
When you as a vendor who sells market go about advising people to save their money and not buy this and not buy that, I hope you know that same people will take that advise and not patronize you anymore cos they’re saving their money too.
Some vendors will take that advise and tomorrow you cry there’s no sales forgetting that you stopped buying from other vendors so customers too stopped buying from you!
How will the world be if everyone decided to save and not buy anything? How will money circulate? How will you even see money to save?
Be careful what you consume here especially when you know that your background is different from theirs. Every year you keep saving money yet you’ve not bought a house in your name or own a land in your name. What exactly do you use the savings for?
There’s a difference between lavish spending and necessary spending.
In all you do this year, ensure you’re sending your money on errand!

These three things define the relationship Jesus had with his Father, and they are a blueprint for the kind of relationship you need to build with God: intimacy, dependency, obedience.
First: let's look at intimacy. Jesus said, 'For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does' (John 5:20 NIV). You only reveal yourself, including your innermost thoughts and secrets, to someone with whom you are intimate. And when you become intimate with God, he will share with you things that others are not privy to. David's greatest passion was to know God intimately. David writes: 'Lord, tell me your ways. Show me how to live' (Psalm 25:4 NCV). Then he follows up by saying, 'The Lord tells his secrets to those who respect him' (Psalm 25:14 NCV).
Having an intimate relationship with God involves three things:
(a) Desire. The truth is that you are as close to God right now as you desire to be; otherwise, you would rearrange your priorities to make it happen.
(b) Discipline. This calls for spending time alone with God in prayer and Bible reading each day. When you pray, you're talking to God. When you read the Bible, God is talking to you.
(c) Delight. 'Delight yourself also in the Lord, and he shall give you the desires of your heart' (Psalm 37:4 NKJV). Something wonderful happens when you 'delight yourself in the Lord'. His desires become 'the desires of your heart', so he can trust you with them. Do you want a more intimate relationship with the Lord? If you are willing to pursue it, you can have it.
