In 2012, I had a tooth extracted in a hospital in Bayelsa. And despite all the scary stories I heard from my friends that I will feel severe pain afterwards, I actually didn't feel anything at all. Omoh, I was surprised, but happy.
ReplyDeleteToday, I have an AP with the doc to extract another one that is completely damaged. I don dey fear already, because me and hospital no dey settle. My fear of needles alone sef, is ridiculous. I don't deal kindly with pain, which is why I always sympathize with those who go through surgeries and stuff. E no easy oooo.
Anyways, I have to face my fear today and go get it done before it would affect my gum and escalate the matter.
God abeg, na 32 teeth I get o. After today, 2 don go. Make e end here abeg. Make I use 30 till I kpai biko. Wouldn't want to be a toothless grandpa ooo. 🙏

But Abram chooses to say yes to his calling.'
That's a choice you will have to make too. And you'll have to make it more than once. As your circumstances change, and the seasons of your life progress, you will have to decide whether to walk with God into the unknown or settle for the security of what you know. Terah settled; Abram moved on.

Wash your agbalumo, cut in half, scoop out the inside. Add sugar and fry till it's caramelized, then you add your agbalumo, and stir till it's kinda sticky. And it's ready. Who's gonna try this??? 😂. Yesterday my daughter showed me the gifts her class teacher gave her for the Debate their class won on Friday, it comprises of one small story book, a packet of #200 Top Biscuit and a bottle of soft drink. She told them that she waited till Monday so she could buy the story books for them. The boy also got the same gifts.
I saw her face lit up as she explained what her teacher said and I was happy that at least, she feels good now. I have promised to still take her out and buy her ice cream this weekend.
I don't care if it was the proprietor that called the teacher to order or she did it on her own volition, I'm just happy that she did something for the students from the money they were gifted. It may be small but it will do a lot for the students subsequent performances..
