DeleteWhen we often expect and ask what people bring to the table as a standard before progressing to either accept them in a relationship or helping them, then I think we're only being realistic but far from being fair to those who're not opportune to meet our very standard but are genuinely and sincerely qualified to be in our lives. I used to believe in that school of thought where someone has to bring something to the table either career wise or their financial ability. Just recently, God showed & proved me wrong through an experience that shaped my understanding and perspective about love and life. A story I would loved to share another day.

We look and dwell so much on the outward appearance and material possession of people as a yardstick before going into relationship with them. Don't get this wrong, I hold nothing against setting standard on what one wants from a partner. But you see, most of the crashed marriages today were people who once brought things to the table. So you see, not even that which was brought to the table was able to save the marriage.
One question that begs for an answer is, what if tomorrow comes and those things they brought to the table vanish or no longer there? Will the friendship, love & romance still be there?
We often overlook value system, decent character, good moral and principled people and focus solely on material things(wealth & class) Most people that bring material things to the table likely end up in arrogance and I will end this note by saying; poverty of virtue is worse than material poverty.

Physical assault and verbal assault causes the same pain. Verbal assault is even worse as it affects a person psychologically and emotionally.. physical assault only affects the body most of the time..
We cannot be telling men not to hit a woman no matter what and shy away, make excuses or justify women insulting men..
So I no put water for mouth talk am and you are all free to twist and interpret this however you want and like: if you as a woman insult a man, then beating is what you need.. because men power is their psychical strength, we fight eachother to settle score from when we were little, women power is their tongue, they insult eachother, opening eachother dirty secrets, that's how they settle scores, (remember how Tiwa and Seyi were insulting themselves and ashawo insults was just flying up and down right),. So if you're telling one not to use his strength, it's only right to tell the other not to use her strength too.. if not beating would continue to happen and you'll only come and cry and shout about how the man is a small man for hitting a woman.. you sef wey dey insult man, you're a small woman for insulting a man QED..
The reason I can never hit a woman no matter what is not because I have self control or something, it's just cause I also have bad mouth too, you insult me, I double the insult and give you back, i had to learn this, it's not men strength, this is the reason a lot of men have stopped commenting on this blog, because of Una insults, because they can't fire back, it's not our strength, but instead of advising yourself not to insult men no matter what, they way you shout about men not beating women no matter what, you won't.. some of Una deserves hot slaps.. but I know if you escape it here, you will get it in real life, because it must surely come.

ReplyDeleteToday is my birthday and feeling down and emotional,I don't understand what life is all about,i never knew it was the first and last birthday gift😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔I wish I use that 2k and get a gift I could hold onto still my last day on earth😭😭😭💔💔💔 I lost my brother November last year"one father different mother"we were mourning and planning his painful burial,I got a called around 5am December 23th my blood brother is dead,he wasn't sick,we spoke 2days before his death,he went out came back and started vomiting some black substance asking for garri and water, people around him thought he was drunk because he drinks,on their way to the hospital some minutes later he died,it all happened at midnight,I only met his body wrapped in a black nylon inside car to be send home,I couldn't cry, he was planning of traveling home for my step's brother's burial from our conversation.they were buried next to each other.what is life? I have stopped questioning God I rather thank him for everything.

Eating breakfast of wateryam and beef sauce.
Truth be told, beef is sweet 😂🤣🤣. These doctors that said we should stay away from red meat after a certain age no do well .
Anyway, the high price of meat generally no kuku let me look Em side since December when I used it for one of the Christmas delicacies.
So I'm just eating beef again after two months. It's still fair. Na small-small I go dey withdraw from it.
