Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, the Senator representing Kogi Central in the Senate has alleged that the Senate president flirted with her in her husband's presence.
It is like opening a can of worms into a can of worms....
It is like opening a can of worms into a can of worms....
In her words;
"Many people do not know what am about to say but I will speak my own truth and the Senate president is allowed to counter that.
It all started on the 8th of December 2023 which was a day before his birthday and my birthday, we were birthday mates, we were all in Akwaibom because he had a big fanfare in the stadium, myself, my husband, and a few of his close friends, we went to Akwaibom.
At first, we were at Ikot-ekpene in his house, then we all moved to his house in Uyo which was about 8pm and he held my hand and said he wanted to show me around his house, my husband was walking behind us, just three of us, we were walking from room to room, he showed me the beautiful interior, this was done by this and that designer and I said it's beautiful.
Then I noticed he hastened his pace, while still holding my hand, and my husband was behind still on his phone and he was catching up wherever he could, when he got to this particular room, he said do you like my house? I said ofcourse, every room is beautiful, nice interior, quality taste.
And he said now that you're a Senator, am going to create time for us to come spend quality moments here, you would enjoy it, at that point, I just pulled away away and I was like I don't really understand that meant but when I turned around, I saw that my husband was already near me and the way my husband looked at me and looked at him and I was beginning to wonder if he heard that part of inciting statement or not and the Senate president, I also saw that he had that thought on his face whether my husband heard the invitation to treat or not.
And then the president then said, oh by the way, let me show you my chapel so when we're going to the chapel, we walked in silence.
So that evening before we left the Senate president's house at about 11 pm to the Four Point and my husband asked me what did the Senate president whisper to you, I thought should I tell him that he was speaking about bringing me in here at a special time for us to have a good time or should I just kill it there as if there was nothing because tomorrow was a big day, I know how much my husband adores the Senate president, he loves him as a brother and he would do anything to support him so I told him nothing so I just gave him so words to mask what was said.
When we laid in bed, I laid to my right and my husband wrapped his hands around me and said my love you know you can tell me anything , what did the Senate president tell you, again I was like don't you believe me?, I said nothing , moreover it's my birthday in few minutes so let's just be happy then my husband said he doesn't want to see me travel out of the country alone and I shouldn't go to the Senate president's house because he has a guest house where many senators do go there after office hours.
I thought that was going to be the end but then in February, I wanted to move a motion for the investigation on the ills of corrupt practices in Ajeokuta steel company, I listed that motion five times, it was the sixth time that it was listed on the other paper that was approved, many senators can testify to that, each time the motion is listed, just before he takes it, he would say 'oh, senator natasha' because the booth of senators can't accommodate it or he would speak on others and let it drag so that before, the time would be well spent and I won't so he kept on doing that, i went to him in his office and said senate president, you know how important this Ajeokuta steel company is to me, to my people and Nigerians, I've noticed that you have stepped down this motion as a matter of fact, a number of senators told me go and see him and plead with him so that he would take it, I was like Sir, please why can't you take this motion, it's very important, then it was listed the third time, he then said, Natasha, am the chief presiding officer of the Senate, you can enjoy a whole lot if you take care of me and make me happy.
At that point, I said Sir I would pretend that I didn't hear this, he said well, the ball is your court, I left his office and when I got home, I told my husband, I didn't tell my husband what happened, I told him please can you speak to the Senate president to allow my motion scale through , I think I also spoke to the DSP, I spoke to a number of senators that they should Intervene, I never told them what happened.
My husband had to take a trip to London, then the Senate president travelled to London , my husband met with the Senate president in London and pleaded with him; 'let my wife take this motion on Ajeokuta, that it's very important to her, he then said he didn't take it because he was protecting me, protecting me from what?
Anyway, at the time the motion was finally taken, it was the deputy senate president that actually say, the Senate president took up and walked out and from there many other incidences happened.
You know a situation we see in the university where a student continuously keeps being failed just because she has not slept with the lecturer, that's what I've been facing, in simple terms".

Hmmm 🤔🤔🤔
ReplyDeleteWahalurr!
DeleteAbeg this is getting irritating to hear i beg.... Make I just dey watch
ReplyDeleteThen is nothing irritating there! I knew this woman was fighting corruption! If Ajaokuta steel is working is that not jobs!
DeleteThe idiots from Delta State, will never think same for Delta steel company! Nigeria must move from a consuming economy to a producing economy!!!
So that man who looks like a double wide trailer and could probably be her father is out here harassing ppl.
ReplyDeleteHe ended the marriage of 30% of Nollywood married women. He's a useless fellow
Delete16:26, I like older men, ain't gonna lie, but my azz would be so nauseated if this was coming at me. Whew! I can smell the breath through the computer screen. He looks like one of them who rubs Vaseline as lotion. Ain't no position, money, or opportunities worth it. Those women stepped out of their marriages and damaged their reputations for low hanging fruit.
DeleteNigeria my country, I no say something they give that woman moral.
ReplyDeleteIt is possible. The Akpabio man is so shameless
ReplyDeleteThis is very possible. Nothing is far from the truth. Even in my mind I knew that may have been the case knowing who Akpabio is.
ReplyDeleteI know his antecedents when he was governor of Aks and in NDDC.
He has a bad reputation when it comes to women.
Back in Uyo he does threesome. When he holds parties ,his aides will bring in girls and he will swim with them and give 2m each. But what he was known for in the state was killing them for ritual purposes His wife's knows his position with ladies. We were so scared to be out when dark in Uyo.
Imagine, I was mourning and went to him for hotel in Uyo to accommodate my guests, yet in that State he was amorous with me.
He talks carelessly. He is crude, rude and nonchalant and he gets away with it.
Back in 2013 as chairman of governors forum, he went to Ife to campaign for Sen Omisiore under pdp to be the governor of Osun, there was a lady he was eyeing there. He Went away with her in the chopper given to him. I will not mention her name cause she is a known figure.
That man likes women too much so I am not surprised at what Natasha said. It's a fact
Gbam!
DeleteWhen Natasha was snapping selfies with him, we no hear nothing, birds of the same feather
DeleteWow! And I used to think that he was a good man with the way he made Akwaibom more beautiful in his time.
DeleteNo wander they say there is always an iota of truth in every rumor. I remember when it was rumoured that he and some people mentioned were using people for rituals during that period when that Umor girl was killed by that guy who didn't show remorse but instead printed a Tshirt describing his role as a killer, also when a very tragic accident happened during a carnival in the state.
If he is actually like this then I refuse ever have anything good to compliment him on
DeleteThey snapped selfies as colleagues,no be lovers
DeleteThis "my husband, my husband," that's flying around, abeg na who be the husband?
ReplyDeleteWhich gbewudani husband she is all about?
DeleteGolfer lady ask Google. She has husband
DeleteThe mistake she made was not telling her husband about it initially. The husband knew that he was hitting at her and probably heard the conversation, but wanted to hear it directly from her. Now that all the world have heard it does it make any difference?
ReplyDeleteThe secrets women keep from their husbands hmmn...
The only bv with sense. Wish I could know you, marry you and bring you over to the good life

Hello iya Boys
A man held your hand in the presence of your husband and was flirting with you and you kept quiet even when your husband asked you whatt happened.? What happens to saying.. Sir I respect you but do not try such with me again. What is more disrespectful than flirting with a woman in Her husbands presence.
ReplyDeleteMen tell women daily that they want to sleep with them. Even mad women have men that tell them daily that they want to sleep with them. What matters is your response and actions immediately or afterwords.
I have this feeling that men's most used word for women they want to rubbish is .. ashawo... while women most used sentence for men they want to rubbish is.. he wants to sleep with me..
Everyone will be fine
Don't mind the woman
DeleteZaram, I pray these perceptions remain with you all your days, it will always bring you peace, genuine love, trust in abundance, respect and riches beyond measure.

I wonder too. She actually disrespected her husband with such acts. And she now decides not to tell him what the senate president whispered to her. Abeg, dem go dey alright last, last.
ReplyDeleteI only read the first three lines. What ever you say here doesn't hold water. Any issue you had with him shouldn't stop you from obeying rules of seat replacement that affected not only you. Please carry your imature attitude and keep one place.
ReplyDeleteYou are a man. Gerraouttt
DeleteGbam!
DeleteYes, I am a man , so get lost
DeleteWahala no too much like this
ReplyDeleteI am not surprised. It was clear, glaring to every discerning observer. The huge giveaway was his reference to a night club while addressing her last year.
ReplyDeleteIs this the robust secret that she wanted to leak?
ReplyDeleteI co-ask. Is this the Akpabio 's secret that she threatened to spill?
Deleteshe is not telling us everything. Just what she wants us to know. if you can hide that from your husband ....
ReplyDeleteGirl's code. This is hate speech
ReplyDeleteNigerians see your representatives.
ReplyDeleteNne na wa o.

ReplyDeleteMost times na set up.If your daughter tells you someone was molesting her and she didn't tell you because you took the molester as a big brother you worship, how would you react?
Your husband na gentle man if all what you said above really took place.
