Police Rescue Lady Found Gagged And Tied By Man She Met Online

A disturbing incident occurred in Abuja on January 31, 2025, when the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command rescued a 25-year-old woman, Promise Eze, from a suspected ritualist at a hotel in the Wuse district. The suspect, who allegedly lured Eze under false pretenses, is still at large, and the police have launched a manhunt .

According to the police, she was found tied to a chair with her mouth covered in plaster after hotel staff made a distress call. The police immediately freed her and she was taken to the hospital, where she regained consciousness.
Investigations revealed that she had met the suspect online, where he posed as "Michael Prince," an oil company employee from Delta State. However, when they met in person, he claimed to be Emmanuel Okoro from Lagos State.

    1. You are a fool for mentioning our blog's single and mingle, did the girl in this story meet the culprit on single and mingle? you should go and tell Mark to scrap Facebook, Instagram and X. Then Tiktok, Snapchat and the rest should be scrapped too. All online dating sites too should be scrapped. Idiot!

    2. Anything online has its risks. Single n mingle is not excluded. All is a risky move because nobody vets these people. A serial killer can post that he wants a woman for a serious relationship and bam, someone is missing and there people never get to know that a connection was made from a blog post. So that's it. Bad things happen.

  13. In the early days of social media, many people formed a meaningful connections, and even got married after meeting on platforms like facebook.
However, time don changed and social media has unfortunately become a breeding ground for scanners, Ritualist, and other malicious individuals.
For safety reasons, I strongly advice ladies to execise caution when meeting people they connected with online.
Specifically, it is crucial to avoid meeting in isolated or enclosed space.
Sadly, recent statistics are alarming, just in January 3women were reported killed for ritual purpose after meeting their murderer on social media.
While it is true that risk exist everywhere, the disturbing trend of women being murdered by individuals they met on social media, is a stack reminder of need for increased awareness and caution.

  16. They never learn. Meeting someone for the first time, and you decide to meet in a private place. What happened to public spots, and then you take a friend to watch you from a distance.
