Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Explains Why Several Notable Gospel Singers Left His Church

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, the founder of The Christ Embassy Church has opened up on why several gospel singers left his church.
In a trending video, he talked about how gospel Ministers now collect money to perform in Churches, doing paid praise and worship songs and exiting the Church immediately prayers start......

In his words;
"They lost their way of worship, the churches were turned into party places not prayer places where God's words were truly celebrated; No!the music in the church became worldly, they danced with themselves and celebrated themselves not God.

How many of those singers are soul winners?they were never soul winners, they lead praises in the church and once it's time for prayers, they are out, they've gone to another church to do another song, they were professionals, making money from the church, charging for their singing, pretending they were singing praises to God, it was all a charade.

And many of the Pastors know that this was the word coming to the church and they help to celebrate them. I did at the beginning but when I changed they refused to change with me, I had to let them go because God was getting my attention and telling me No!, this is not the way so I came back and said to them Hey! If anybody celebrated you, I did but now the church is asking us to do the right thing and I showed them from the bible what was the right thing but they had become too popular and they were making some money and the little money they were making was too attractive, their heart was overcharged so they didn't wanna follow me in the direction I was going, they did a detour and I hope they all repent cause I told them the direction they were going is the wrong direction and one day those churches that were inviting them to come and do special singing for them will stop, once those churches repent and start doing the right thing because what they were doing is not from God.

I told you what the ministry is supposed to be like through good worship do those people parading and going place to place that they are worship leaders, there's nothing like that, they are not worship leaders, that ministry doesn't exist, the only one who had that role was fired by God and it was Satan.

So true praise is in the house of God not some minister so and so traveling from one place to play ,collecting money from people and says he's a Minister of God, don't give him, don't pay and that ministry would be retired quickly"

    1. Exactly 💯.. @ 13:18, my dear you just said my mind! I just decided to follow him anymore yesterday! Nigerians are just so brainwashed by this men of God! Is his talents of the word of God; that him his family member used to believe billionaires! I didn't discover my talent early in ministry ! He discovered his own early and converted it to serve God and make life easy for himself, his extended family and his inner caucus!
Until Nigerians start sitting at home and worship God online for themselves! They will continue to be deceived by the manipulative GOs in Nigeria!
I have gone back to my Church of Birth!when I am abroad, I. only worship in white churches! Black American churches get their own for body! Their own is fighting for liberation that God gave them already!
I like my freedom! I don't want stress in this life!
No self proclaimed man or woman of God can put me in bondage!!!

    1. You have brain but don’t use it, so being divorced should make one to hide and not say anything in public. So divorce should end him.

  8. Those Gospel singers he's referring to grew up in his Church and have seen how he operated his church like an enterprise.

Hence, he has no reason whatsoever to complain when his secrets of church business are now with the singers.

    1. Do you mean that he shouldn't have repented from his former ways of running the church like an enterprise? Like he should have continued in it? There is no need for repentance to you right? Ok o.

Oya, Pastor Chris, it's a sin to repent and also call the people you once led astray to repentance according to bvs here. They say you don't have the right to preach repentance from a sin you were once guilty of.

  9. Most churches are too music focused and not spirit focused. Attendees are coming for concert-like experiences instead of spiritual transformation experiences. They don’t know the Bible, they do not know how to communicate with God on their own, they have no concept of hearing God’s voice, and the only time they community pray is for asking for something, God is reduced to a vending and atm machine in their life. The church has produced a generation of ppl who are spiritually dependent with no maturity or ability to stand up to any test of faith. All they want is music and dancing. Mtsscchhwww

  12. He's a minister of the word which pays his bills while these people minister I songs which I believe is paying their bills as well. So what is the issue here?

If they no longer have a personal fellowship and relationship with God, then that should be a cause for concern.
