The suspension is after a meeting with government representatives, where it was agreed to set up a committee to review the tariff structure.
The committee will include five members from the NLC and the Federal Government, and they will submit their findings within two weeks.
NLC President Joe Ajaero stated that the union's next move including potential protests or boycotts, will depend on the outcome of the committee's work.
