Nigerian Nonagenarian Reportedly Registers To Write UTME

94-year-old Adedapo Idowu, has registered for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Idowu’s inspiring story was featured in the latest bulletin of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), where he expressed his excitement about the opportunity to study at his advanced age “I can now attain my dream at an advanced age,” he said.
Oh YES!, every dream is valid!

    1. No Shooter, me neither. I wonder wat he needs it for, after every every, he is no longer employable. He is way past employment age in nigeria. Except he wants to be his own boss, and if he is starting now he is late.

    2. It doesn't make sense to me either but it kinda gave me the encouragement I needed right now. I planned going back to school next year and in my early 30s but everyone around me is just discouraging me except my husband.

    3. Flawless darl, are you going back to do your masters or Phd? If yes, then by all means do so before you turn to this octogenarian. All the best!

  9. 90 my foot. 70s is more like it. He can do whatever he likes to keep dementia away. Nobody should help with the schoolwork.

Not like my mother at 65 who started a PhD but now paying somebody to do her schoolwork. Disappointing really. . She spends all her time on WhatsApp gossiping while losing out on brain exercise. She is very intelligent o, infact a badass who i take after. Such a waste
