Proud and arrogant, and always wanting male sons to continue their 'legacy'...I am Igbo by the way and there are certain things I dont like about myself too!
ReplyDeleteIbos are generally proud especially when they have money. People tell me I’m proud. I think it’s by default
DeleteI like your frankness and candour. I am Yoruba and there are certain things I also don’t like about Yoruba generally. Let us all continue to strive to be better people.
DeleteJealousy won wound this one.
ReplyDeleteGet money and stop hating niccah!
Maybe if you had been a MAN not a sissy looking for women validation, maybe, just maybe, you would have made it in life and they would have come to greet you and sing praises to you too..
Mr wives not cook isonu
I thoroughly disagree with you for the most part but I agree with regards to the jealous comment. If Oprah, Bill Gates or Jeff Bezos wan scatter my wedding why not? Even very high class restaurants and nightclubs rearrange their seats for big spenders. This man should just go and make money abeg.
DeleteEeeya....e pain u well.
Delete.he's simping and very happy with his life....run along and find somthin else to bitch about, supposed alpha male..
Lol
ReplyDeleteLike the hall that has been arranged will be rearranged because of someone. I thought spaces are mapped out for different set of people during occasions, which one is coming to arrange chairs again.
ReplyDeleteExactly how they behaves
ReplyDeleteHow they behaves bawo? Always concluding with proof. How many Igbos have you met or have dealings with?

DeleteThis short man devil. Always capping rubbish.
ReplyDeleteHahaha, very explicit. Though not particularly igbos. It's a Nigerian thingy.😂😂😂
ReplyDeleteNoble your rant can not change anything
ReplyDeleteI have never witnessed that. But igbo men are really proud.
ReplyDeleteThat’s good.
DeleteI haven't witnessed it either, one thing I hate about the Igbo's, both men and women is arrogance. Their arrogance in this homeland that I'm in is extreme. I have lived in one other eastern state, they are not as arrogant as the ones here.
DeleteOhhhhhhh
ReplyDeleteTorrrrr
Hello iya Boys
It is not pride ,it is arrogance
ReplyDeleteWhen my people have some change and level you will feel their arrogance and pride from a far
ReplyDeleteYet to witness it..
ReplyDeleteIkegwuru
DeleteNoble you have said nothing but the truth. Once they have money forget it.
ReplyDeleteThe Most Complex B
I am not Igbo but I don't see why they should not be proud, particularly if they have achieved great success. Do they have big egos yes? But if they can back it up why not? Naija is one country where if you don't toot your own horn they will rubbish you finish. If you think Igbos are proud go mingle among European artistos. Their arrogance starts where the Igbo ones end.
ReplyDelete"Just because it happened at one wedding" Now makes it all igbo men. Dead generalization in 2025.
ReplyDeleteAn average Igbo man is raised to have a superior sense of self worth. Call it pride, arrogance, confidence or superiority complex. Meanwhile, do not forget the mental impact of fighting and surviving a war or being raised by parents who survived the war. Nobel Igwe, please leave Igbo men alone . One day, you will need these noisy men to show up for you!.
ReplyDeleteThe Igbos are not proud. They are Hebrews. God made them that way, they are the sons of God. They are from the tribe of Gad. They are the sons of Eri. They are not Jewish but they are Hebrews. Jewish are from the tribe of Judea.
ReplyDeleteThere is something special about them. The whole world can deny it if they want but igbos are very special people.
