Rumour from the grapevine alleges that Aigboje has stopped Herbert's parents allowance, refused to take them on the annual POLO trips that Herbert normally did when he was alive and they say that he allegedly cited no money as the reason....
They whisper that he is allegedly the one standing between Herberts children and Herbert's family from settling their differences because he wants to control things to his advantage...
The rumor mill is heavy with the allegations and say Aigboje's obvious intentions are the reasons Herberts parents cried and the father fell sick, that it was a shock to see Aigboje show his true colors.....
Here is hoping that things will be settled before the bad talks overtakes the good deeds.....Maybe Aigboje should do a Press statement to clarify these....

ReplyDeleteI believe AIG is acting for the benefits of the children. He's a business man and understands how money can miss road very quick if not properly managed.. I don't think he means any harm He's just trying to protect all his friend left behind for the children's sake.

Typical Ikwerre behaviour. They fight for land, properties and all. The children needs a strong figure to match that battle. AIG is just that person and he should be Spiritually alert too. That should tell you all you need to know. Baba has sons and daughters, let them step up and take care of him... The man was very happy to take up that task cos he never liked my elder brother who felt the house was his inheritance. Before my father's death, house document don dey my brother hand already, courtesy of my mother. Wetin them rub for face go the man house go collect document, only God knows. Fear Edo mothers. Lol. ReplyDelete🤔 I watched the interview on YouTube TV360 yesterday. I asked God for forgiveness for my initial opinions. My take from the Joy W (Cali licensed Attorney)’s interview:
ReplyDelete1. The document lodged at the probate in Lagos was written in 2013. It’s bizarre that he had no recent document considering he has a 2-year old granted many prefer trusts to will. (2). The “will” in Lagos was actually his trust in Florida. Allegedly he had trusts in NY, FL etc because of Uncle Sam taxes as he was an 🇺🇸citizen. The document in Florida which this woman had access to (public information here) was 18 pages but Aig & Paul Us..only lodged 3 pages in Lagos probate registry. Why not the entire 18 page Florida trust? (3) The document did not mention his 🇳🇬 assets, with no linked trust assets listed. She & her brother submitted a list of what they believed was his assets? in the days after his demise to Aig. (4.) The late bro had assets in many countries & there did not seem to be one for 🇳🇬 from her interview. The Florida trust had his late wife, late son & his friend in that order, since it is rare for a man to die with both survivors, it defaulted to his friend, down on the list per the 2013 trust. One white woman trustee was allegedly paid off with $millions.(5.)Grandaughter wanted her grandpa earlier on to help her, things were smooth until they started asking the bestie questions. He became defensive & was disrespectful to the Grandpa for using his late son’s private jet. The young lady was close to her grandpa & Ma & was on vacation with them in January before the tragedy. They were not invited to her graduation from Imperial college in summer, only Aig, wife & selected folks were at the graduation. There is a 2-year old child among the 3 minors, 2013 is a long time ago. Aig allegedly was trying to get information on the NY trust. He was asked to bring the children or legal guardian. Ms Joy finds it curious that they filed a guardianship certificate for the oldest daughter using an antiquated Lagos law on street kids. (7.) Aig, Access, Coronation merchant, Tenpen? Holdings are using the same attorney as the young lady. The name of the girl was added by the other parties to smear the grandpa as she was not named in their suit. Who benefits the most from this tragedy?
Huge $$ is involved, if not carefully handled the foreign $ will be swallowed by uncle Sam’s taxes & the kids may have nothing soon. They should request an investigation in the US considering her question on who planned the trip. A 25/26 year old street raised person is different from a sheltered Ajebutter 26 year old who grew up with cooks, staff and private jet. The late guy’s assets are probably hundreds of million $ over the globe, it’s easy to cheat the young lady. Who is looking out for her if her attorney is the same as the corporate parties?
How is the 2-year old being cared for. Who is providing emotional support for all of them, from accounts of access bank employees, the Aig guy is mean & harsh & his late friend was the calm partner. There were comments under news stories that he didn’t want his friend to succeed him but for Cosmas Maduka’s insistence.
I was scared for the young woman & her siblings after watching the interview. This is a high stakes, high $ $ situation, the stuff of thrillers. Could the kids be in danger? Is the young lady being manipulated? Is she scared of her Dad’s friend? Is he owing? Who, how much & what is the plan, we saw powerful usually heartless politicians cry at the services, they only care about $ else they would fix 🇳🇬.
Was the relationship between their late dad & his bestie as great as it once was at the time of his demise? Assumptions aren’t good. If there was some antipathy or there was suspicion of foul play are these kids safe? Remember there is a lot of $$$ involved & these guys including the late one, do not play nice. Many very rich folks are not nice. I have no opinion, only prayers for the young adult & her siblings after reading about Aig’s character & brutality from ex-Access staff.
