African footballer of the year Ademola lookman released a statement in response to criticism from his coach Gasperini openly blaming him for missing a penalty.
Part of the relase says
'Being singled out in the manner I have been not only hurts but feels deeply disrespectful, not least because of the immense hard work and commitment I have always put in each and every day to help bring success to this club. In truth I have dealt with many difficult moments during my time here majority of which I have never spoken about'

ReplyDeleteTrust me, Sometimes we are criticized, not because they hate us but because they had so much expectations of us.

DeleteThat’s Italian’s for you, racism thrives there..this same guy single handedly won them Europa league last season, he came in and scored immediately to help the team but all Gasperini could see was the penalty miss😒 he should leave by summer transfer window abeg❗️as a coach you’re supposed to protect your players
