Canada Denies Visa's To Nigeria’s CDS Christopher Musa And Other Top Military Officials
The Canadian government recently denied visas to Nigeria's Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, and other high-ranking military officials. The officers were scheduled to attend an event in Canada honoring war veterans. Reports indicate that the visa applications were submitted without a Note Verbale—a diplomatic note from Nigeria's Ministry of Foreign Affairs—which is a standard requirement for such high-level official trips. This oversight is believed to have contributed to the visa denials.

ReplyDeleteNigeria is fast losing it's relevance outside the country
ReplyDeleteAnd a Nigerian citizen could not even read a post of a few sentences.
DeleteGood for them.
ReplyDeleteVery embarrassing
ReplyDeleteWaris happening, what an embarrassing moment so sorry about that CDS Christopher Musa ๐ค
ReplyDeleteIt maybe an administrative glitch ๐๐๐
ReplyDeleteYou are partly correct Stella, yes it is for the Invictus game for the Nigerian team. Only a fraction of them ended up in Canada at present which is just not good enough.
ReplyDeleteNext time, we will plan better God willing.
Good for them
DeleteI like this!! Every other country should continue to deny all Nigerian politicians from gaining access to their country for any reason. Maybe that will make them think and do the righ things in Nigeria.
ReplyDeleteThey are military officers not politicians.
DeleteWhy did they overlook such important factor? Good they were sent back.
ReplyDeleteAdunni
This is what you get when you dont follow Due process in a system that works.
ReplyDeleteProtocol officers can be colossally inefficient. Someone slumbered instead of preparing the not verbale and now we have this. Everyone is salivating on per diem while the documents to take you there never complete.
ReplyDeleteLol . Salivating on per diem. You sabi. He has already finished spending it in his head.
ReplyDeleteCanada wey we de go like water.
These embassies don't joke with their check list. If a document is a requirement then you must provide it.
