Canada Denies Visa's To Nigeria’s CDS Christopher Musa And Other Top Military Officials

The Canadian government recently denied visas to Nigeria's Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, and other high-ranking military officials. The officers were scheduled to attend an event in Canada honoring war veterans. Reports indicate that the visa applications were submitted without a Note Verbale—a diplomatic note from Nigeria's Ministry of Foreign Affairs—which is a standard requirement for such high-level official trips. This oversight is believed to have contributed to the visa denials.

  6. You are partly correct Stella, yes it is for the Invictus game for the Nigerian team. Only a fraction of them ended up in Canada at present which is just not good enough.
Next time, we will plan better God willing.

  7. I like this!! Every other country should continue to deny all Nigerian politicians from gaining access to their country for any reason. Maybe that will make them think and do the righ things in Nigeria.

  10. Protocol officers can be colossally inefficient. Someone slumbered instead of preparing the not verbale and now we have this. Everyone is salivating on per diem while the documents to take you there never complete.
