Author Chimamanda Adichie Reveals She And Hubby Welcomed Twin Boys 10 Months Ago

In a recent interview with The Guardian, Nigerian-American author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie revealed that she and her husband, Dr. Ivara Esege, welcomed twin boys, who are now 10 months old. This joyful news comes after a period marked by personal losses, including the sudden deaths of both her parents in 2020 and 2021. 1. With social media, most overshare. But she has really mastered the art of keeping her private life, private. Congratulations, on their twin babies.

    1. It's actually very easy. Especially if you focus on talking ONLY about important things. Ive learned this the hard way.

I'm 36 and just about to get married for the first time. Everyone thinks I am a single pringle because I do not post about dating and only post about politics, religion, etc. Some think I am dating an old man. But my guy is a 39 year tall, dark handsome, never married, no kids, successful prayerful man.

I'd start posting dating photos after our court wedding. Hahahah. And every post after that would be backdated. Keep them confused and wondering.

I'm married with a 13yr old but my friends on Facebook don't know as I don't post about my marriage or family. They don't see my husband 's pics on my timeline except my child once in a while. Most useless married men come into my DM to declare love for me and ask me out. When I tell them I'm happily married that they should never say such to me again, they flare up and block me. I return the favour and block them too. Very useless goats.

    7. Thank you my lovies. Mwaaah! I've never been so happy and feel like the luckiest girl in the world.

You see, I used to be a parrot, an oversharer. But I started to experience delays and bad luck at some point. "Me weh things dey move for, wetin happen?" I entered real hot prayer and God told me to close my mouth.

Na for where I close mouth, I hammer one better job for abroad. I come relocate - QUIETLY. Na so people dey vex. I change phone number too - QUIETLY. They DM me tire, I was just doing "Peace be unto you". Some unfollow me sef. I no follow them argue. I deleted stuff on social media. Then started this quiet life and abroad also helps. Hmmmm... na so my luck return oh.

My fiance has been going for some job interviews, to grow in his career. He came to me complaining and I told him: close mouth. Dont tell anyone when the next company calls you. Dont even tell me - I won't be angry.

That's how a previous opportunity that fell through, came back around. They called him back that they made a mistake etc. He got it this time. He said to me: wise woman I've learned something from you.

See ehn... private life? I am now the queen. People hearts no good, make them no deceive you. Congratulations to Chimamanda

Dream count was a good read. Omelogor is my favorite character. I like how her life showed that a woman can be unmarried without children in her forties and be truly content. Having a lot of money sure helps. I did envy her life a tiny little bit. Marriage is truly not for everyone.
Can’t wait to receive my hard copy. Definitely worth rereading.

    2. You don’t really understand Feminism. If you do, you’ll know that it hasn’t nothing to do with having a husband.

    3. You clearly are soaked in misogyny and false superiority to women that you cannot grasp the meaning of feminism

Na wa o , and you boldly come here to compare knowledge with those in the know instead of you to humble yourselves and ask questions like I do on things I don't know about?

  20. Women like Chimamanda, Funke Opeke (the woman who led a company to build the 1st fiber optic undersea cable from Portugal to Lagos to get the internet connection that all the entertainment industry benefit from), should be the role models of this generation, as far as professional and career role models go. Congrats to her and her husband.
