Yoruba Nollywood actress Olayinka Solomon has shated her struggle with postpartum on Instagram

Mine, I get angry over little things and memoryloss, we can gist now, next minute, I dont remember
What changed????
I don't get full...I can eat now, next minute am hungry''
I think motherhood changed me that I’m now more patient than before. I no longer react when I’m angry and I tend to be more tolerant.
ReplyDeleteAs for memory loss, I will not accuse motherhood cos that one has always been there.

Irritability is a sign of baby blues. Your mood will normalize soon. E hugs
ReplyDeleteWell, My baby is 2months old now, at the beginning, I was always crying at any small provocation, memory loss happened for 2 weeks, but now I'm good.
ReplyDeleteMy baby doesn't cry like before, so my stress level is low now.
I have the post partum memory loss too and then I’m always peeing, almost two years later.
ReplyDeleteEka, please make sure you do your pelvic floor exercises. Very important

ReplyDeleteHello iya Boys
Amennnn
DeleteMine is much.
ReplyDeleteMemory loss, that one is still there.
Crying over nonsense and I won't cry over serious things
More careful in everything - handling electrical kitchen gadgets, walking on the road, crossing the road, what I eat, treating sickness, etc. I just want to be alive and well for my children.
I added weight in all areas and I love it
I now love children more than before. I would see a child I don't know walking alone carelessly on the road and I would ask where their parents are.
I now snap out of sadness or depression faster cos of my children. They will look at you intensely and ask what the problem is. Then they will make you laugh or shout and scream and forget that you were sad 🤣
Aww 🤗
DeleteMine was heart burn all through my pregnancies and lots of things irritates me, couldn't eat certain foods too. Heartburn continued after birth and later stopped. Then the insomnia started. After the regular 3 months (no sleep period) I still find it hard to sleep well. The fear of baby falling off the crib that I used to have after birth still lives with me and I find myself waking up every now & then to check on them. Lol. Good part, it has helped my prayer life (especially for midnight prayers) and I tend to look out for children more then before.
