what she said is true. Some parent will tell you to leave their children to follow them to adult church cos they felt they are big men children. If you have children catch them young with the things of God.

DeleteIf she was properly brought up she won't be showing us semi nakedness with her thighs. Though I agree with her opinion regarding bringing up children in a spiritual way, let them know how to pray at least.

ReplyDeleteSome parents want to stay in the adult church with their kids because of the fear of their kids being kidnapped during pick up time at the children church (God forbid). The best thing to do is to ensure that we look out for a good church that is well coordinated, where the system works just the way we look out for good schools.
ReplyDeleteAlso, we can teach them how to pray at home during prayer time. May the Lord keep protecting our children and also help them understand when they are being taught.
I strongly disagree because not all children have turned out well despite church. I know a priests daughter who turned to prostitution. Just teach your kids right not by going to church but by your character because most of you church goers are hypocrites and wicked more than Satan himself.
ReplyDeleteThank God you said church goers and not born again christians. There's huge difference between both. Church goer is a religious person who could go ahead to do certain things and still not bothered but a born again Christian is spirit filled and have the fear of God in him or her.

ReplyDeleteChai! Very very bad. Sunday school is important for the development of kids both academically too sef. I know the useful things we were thought when growing up in Sunday school that is still in my head till now.
DeleteHow to say the books of the Bible from Genesis to revelation so today anytime I want to read the Bible I already know where to find each book not scatter through it like a mad woman.

Sunday school is really helpful and important for the developmental well-being of a child. Kids get to associate will other Christian kids too. My childhood friends they are from Sunday school we grew up together did things together went to church, quiz, dance, choir practice together

ReplyDeletePeople say they don't learn how to pray but practically, that's a big lie because if you don't learn it, you will only make yourself available for prayers only when you face life's challenges. Those who learnt how to pray pray even when there seem to be nothing to cry to God about.
DeleteShould we teacher our kids religion or humanity? Which is more important? Your kids can go to sunday school every time for I care but does it reflect on their life's choices? Do what works for you. We see what happens in our country every single day, for a country known to be over religious? Something is missing then.
ReplyDeleteThey teach humility in Sunday schools. Nobody ever thought me religion growing up and that's why I don't take religious practices serious.
