Speaking in a recent interview with Debbie Shokoya, Amusa said
“I remember I was singing at the deepest and the top of my voice. I remember I was crying so deeply like I didn’t mind that my maid and domestic workers were around. I was telling God it’s either you take my life at this moment or you fulfill that promise which you have promised me. If there is anything positive about my life that is remaining I think this is the time.
“I cried and told God I was tired. I knew how many medical checkups I had gone through. I know the amount of surgeries I have had. So, if this thing will still happen, I told God to let it happen. If it’s not going to happen He should kill me.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations 👏👏
God didnt give that surrogate mother Carried the baby.
ReplyDeleteSo if a surrogate carried the baby, it's from the devil or from science?
DeleteSuch an obtuse way of reasoning.
Just so you know, all science have to do is put the egg and sperm together and science can not 100 % determine if an embryo would be formed, hence there is something termed succes rate which aint a 100%.
2ndly, after embryo transfer, science can not also determine if it would get implanted or even be carried to term by the biological mother or a surrogate.
If you believe God made it possible for people to conceive after sex, best believe same God made it possible for the embryo to implant too if IVF was a means. If you doubt that, then you need to read your Bible with the help of the holy spirit because nothing happens except ordained by God
And you think surrogate mother couldn't have miscarried as well? Think again. There's a place for God's grace in the whole process, leave Dayo to thank God the way she likes.
DeleteDid she conceive with her husband?

ReplyDeleteCongratulations to you dear. Am so happy for you. TTC is not for a fainted heart, there’s no type of fertility drug that you wouldn’t drink, you’re always expecting every month and becomes sad immediately your menstruation starts. There’s no type of prayer that you will not pray. I always cry my eyes out every month while menstruating. God is indeed faithful. I will tell my story here someday. Please, never you break any heart of a woman ttcing by reminding her of how much she has waited
