Actor Uti Nwachukwu Questions The Male And Female Gender And Wonders Why People Think God Is A ''He''

Actor Uti Nwachukwu has shared a video raising questions about the genders God created.
He questioned why people assume God is male. He asked that if humans were made in the image of God and God is considered male and where did the woman's image come from?
In the video he said: "I just love the fact that most people think God our creator is 'male', that God has a 'gender'. God... He...
"So, let me ask you, if we were made in his image, where did the image of the woman come from?"

Whatever you want to believe in won't change who GOD is.

  6. Human wisdom is limited. Old boy, do not dabble into what you cannot fully explain.

Ask St. Augustine if he was able to empty an ocean into a tea cup.

  8. I like thought provoking conversations like this.
I have been asking question too.
A lot of us have been conditioned to certain religious assumptions while growing up and lack the ability to think for ourselves.
Be objective, ask questions and let your personal convictions determine what is true.

  9. God’s image is God’s spirit to begin with
Being made in God’s image isn’t about physical traits like gender, it about essence, intelligence ,substance , morality…God is a spirit, so spirits can’t be categorized by gender
The image of a woman came from the man Gen 2:21-23 a woman is a reflection of a man

  10. The fact that humans possess knowledge does not mean we have answers to every question. God is unquestionable. Just as we cannot choose the womb that carries us, the country we are born into, or our race, so it is with many aspects of life. A clay vessel cannot question the potter about why it was shaped in a certain way.

    1. Exactly! We are speaking about a spirit that is beyond our scope of understanding, an energy so powerful and all knowing that humans could not comprehend. ‘He’, ‘His’ and ‘Him’ are used so that humans could find a way to simplify God into understanding and also to view the nature of God as though like a father.

Only God can reveal His true form and from what was written human eyes and brains are not equipped to view the authentic image of God, either it will kill us or drive us into insanity because there is nothing in nature that is like it. So we connect with God energetically from our souls through prayer and meditation, we can feel a small part of God’ s energy through love and we share in His creative nature through creating here on earth during our lifetime.

    2. Fascinating! I wish you would share more about your culture’s concept of God. Often when these conversations are had they focus solely on Christian or Islamic ideals, we need to hear from others with their own knowledge. Africa is blessed to have so many different cultures with beautiful creation stories, views of God and life after death. Africa is the only continent with such rich cultural diversity.
