  1. Whenever you hear or see a couple having marital issues, always remember:
    1. Couples will always say a version of the quarrel that makes them look good. However, there are always 2 versions, and the TRUTH!
    2. Issues will always arise in marriages. But only IMMATURE couples allow their issues become a public nuisance....
    3. Always make an effort to hear both of them, and NEVER take sides.
    4. If you've never been married, take it easy when analyzing couple crisis, because if you haven't worn the shoe of marriage, you will NEVER understand how to walk in it. Talk is always cheap. Enter fes, you go know....
    5. Nobody's marital crisis should be used to 'catch cruise'. It is them today. Could be anyone else tomorrow. Pray for them, Learn lessons and be on guard! πŸ’―

    Faith And Worship!!
    Mathew 15:22.

"Worship can be the key that unlocks divine responses when it seems like there’s silence from God."

"Have you ever prayed and it seemed like you weren’t hearing anything from the Lord? You're wishing you could hear from God and it seems as though there’s no response?"
In faith, worship the Lord profusely and sincerely, and you’ll get a response."

    Prayer!!

Dear Father, I worship and adore you, the everlasting King of glory, the only wise and true God, gracious, holy, righteous, pure and kind. Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the majesty and the splendour! You’re exalted as head over all, and I extol your majesty and praise you for your blessings and wondrous works in my life and in all the earth, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

  6. My love for Ibrahim Traore the military President of Burkina Faso can't be described. Who else watched the video of his presence in Ghana during the inauguration? Man had a pistol on him that's visible at the belt side, with adequate heavy military guards with him. He stole the occasion I must say.

When the crowd saw him in his well-starched, ironed and smart uniform with the side arm, they started shouting: “Traore, Traore, Traore”.

Africans need to unite to fight these colonialist. With all these years of aids given to African countries, yet we're still in debts. Why is the continent still poor and backward? When you think rightly, you have the answers.

  7. THE POWER OF THE TONGUE

Your tongue has creative power. If you doubt that, criticise someone and observe the look on their face and their response. Now try complimenting them and observe the look on their face and their response.

But let's not just talk about the effect your words have on others but what they have on you. The Bible says when you use your tongue to do good, you 'enjoy life and see many happy days' (1 Peter 3:10 NLT). Jesus said, 'Whoever says to this mountain, "Be removed and be cast into the sea," and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says' (Mark 11:23 NKJV). What did he mean?

He means... That you can talk about your problem or talk to the great problem solver about your problem. You can complain about it or pray about it. You can discuss it from a human perspective, focusing on all its complications, or discuss it from a divine perspective, focusing on God's power to change the circumstances. You can reinforce your sense of discouragement and despair by saying things like, 'The problem is too big, and nothing can be done about it.' Or you can give the problem to God and say, 'Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us' (Ephesians 3:20 NKJV). When you say that, you're not only using the creative power of God's word, you're using your tongue the right way.

  13. A surprise win for Spurs last night against Liverpool. I am not quite sure anyone saw that coming though but then, their chances of qualifying to the final isn't guaranteed yet as the return leg Wil be played at Anfield on the 5th of February. Kudos to Spurs though.
The first of the semi final matches of the Supercopa was played between Athletic club and Barcelona last night which saw Barca defeat Athletic by 2 goals to nil, thanks to Yamal and Gavi. The second match will be played tonight between Realmadrid and Mallorca. Should Realmadrid defeat Mallorca tonight, we will have to brace up for an El-classico final.

  17. If you have a girlfriend in some places in Ibadan and she is still faithful then she must be treated right. Because 90% of ladies there are AK67, 5% are neither good nor bad and another 5% are totally good.

Which places am I talking about?
    *Beere
    *One
    *Mokola
    *Akinyele
    *Mopo
    *I do inside

So many places like that, you see young girls of 10,11years being pregnant, smoking hard drugs and causing problems at every opportunity. You will also see a lady who claim to be a graduate, beautiful but hmmmm "idan orita"

  26. Tales from my mother's hut.

    VASWANI

Wake up it's 5:00am. Mum rang the Ngirigba to remind us all it was eke market. By the way, we were four girls . Domestic chores was endless in my home.

I checked the popular grand father's clock on the wall , it said 5:00am. My immediate sibling was still fast asleep . Mum gave me the Ngirigba to ring it on her so she could wake up.

I showered and dressed up, it was my turn today to follow mum to the market. VASWANI is a bee hive market . You have to be there early to make sales if at all.

The bus conveyed I and mum from the usual bustop. It was filled with women chattering on top of their happy voices. One particular buxomy woman pressed my slender frame to the window , I was almost gasping for air. My mum like a hawk could sense my uncomfortability. Nnenne, she called . Yes I answered and told her not to worry.

We alighted at the market junction. And trekked the remaining distance. We got to mums stall and found her customers already waiting for her . Mum sprang into action, bufute agba akwa in her shrill voice. The customers started making their selections while I watched with admiration.

I waited for the customers to finalize the deal before approaching mum for breakfast. I would never miss Iya Kudi's garlic and ginger scented rice. She sits at the center of the market while her customers troop in from various stalls to buy .

It was on this eventful day that a cry rang out in the market , a man screamed that his manhood has disappeared.

People ran helter skelter, I took my food from Iya Kudi's and ran towards mum's stall.
One elderly woman did not take lightly what the screaming man announced, she just told Iya Kudi to give the man some food.

I could remember watching him from the corner of my eyes, his hunger disappeared, and his manhood re-appeared as he announced.

Till date, I would never forget the taste of Iya Kudi's rice and how it miraculously brought back a manhood.

  37. Don’t judge yourself by your own standards; rather, judge yourself by God’s standard. The Bible says in 2Corinthians 10:18 it is not the fellow who commends himself that is righteous, but the one that the Lord commends.

Isaiah might have been judging himself by his own standards, but when he encountered God’s glory, he saw that he was not in the state he was supposed to be.

Judge yourself in the truth in God’s word; this will tell you whether you are on the right track or not. Do not judge yourself based on your feelings, what the society is saying, or on your achievements. Use God’s word as a mirror, and let it show you the real you. After weighing yourself according to God’s word, surrender completely to Him and ask Him to help you to live right.

After Isaiah’s experience in Isaiah 6:1-5, he knew that the only way he could truly be holy was by God’s help. You cannot be righteous by your own power; you need God to help you.

Examine yourself today, identify your faults and make the right adjustments, you will not be condemned when the time of judgment comes.

    Good morning πŸ’•

Just felt in my heart to say it ...
God has blessed each and everyone of us in one way or the other and no one has it all. It takes a lot of courage for one to come to an open space as this to beg for assistance putting aside the shame and all .
To the high and Mighty anons up there stop shaming people who are down there . If God has blessed you with the good things of life ... Thanks be to God for that.
    No one has it all
No condition is permanent in this life
The dice of life is still rolling...
STOP SHAMING PEOPLE BECAUSE YOU HAVE YOU ARE UP THERE...

  46. So my siblings have been talking about me not getting married not knowing that I have my own plans without saying anything to anyone till we ate set t mae it official. Now that we are ready, I spoke to my mum and sk her fe questions about traditional stuffs. He started running her mouth to my siblings but everyone is pretending not to know since I haven't told them.

My mum said somethings to my guy that it was my elder brother who said them not knowing those things only her and myself have ever discussed it. I decided to zip my mouth when I heard all she told my guy and face front.

This morning my elder sister is acting spiritual, that there is this important decision I want to take and I need to seek the face of God especially now that there is fasting and prayers for him to give me wisdom and direct me..I said okay and thank you. I have been laughing cos I know she heard it from the source of my mum, let them all not worry cos I will.soon shock them all

We have been on seeking the face of God since 2020 and now we are set to get together. They all feel we just met, same people shouting and talking about me not getting married. Oluwa has already gone ahead to settle things before I even asked my mum any question or allow her to meet with my guy.

Life has a way of balancing itself. You don’t have to chase revenge or match the cruelty of unkind people. Karma moves silently but powerfully. What you put out into the world will always find its way back to you—kindness, love, or pain.

  52. Good morning all
It's a cool Thursday morning here.

The price hike in house rent is very alarming. One man moved out of a miniflat in the house next to ours, the caretaker was telling an agent that the rent is 500k, total package 750k. He increased the rent by 100%, the last tenant was paying 250k per year. This mini flat has a tiny room and a tiny kitchen that looks like wardrobe, toilet like cupboard.
As it is now, i have told hubby that we will try and maintain this our apartment till we build our own house by God's grace. If anyone looks for our trouble, we will ignore and report to the caretaker. No fighting, no owing of any bill to avoid quit notice.
If we have not built our house, we will only move when there's a threat to our lives or the building is sold. I can't imagine how much a two bedroom flat would be now if we are renting newly. Kai!
