Jesus was both human and divine. But, because we tend to think of him more as the Son of God, we overlook what we can learn from his human experience.
When Jesus miraculously fed five thousand people, his divine power and prerogatives were on display (see Matthew 14:13-21). Yet after the event, we see his humanity in ways we should be able to identify with. After dismissing the crowd and sending the disciples away, Jesus withdrew to a solitary spot on the mountainside to be alone with God. After such a miracle, most of us would be celebrating. And those around us would have a hard time understanding why he sent them away. But Jesus understood that his power did not come from the crowd but from his Father, so he created time and solitude to be alone with him.

ReplyDeleteIt's natural to worry about unfulfilled goals, but remember that most successful people didn't have their lives figured out before 30 especially those who started from the scratch.
Keep grinding, don't compare yourself to others, don't stress about age. We come from different backgrounds and we deal with individual struggles. As long as you're alive, your story can change anytime.
A car acquired at 30, 40, 50 is still a car. A degree earned at 30, 40, or 50 is still a valuable achievement. Building a house at any age is still a remarkable accomplishment.
I understand we all want to succeed early but unforeseen circumstances and background struggles can arise. That's why age shouldn't worry you. What truly matters is achieving your goals, not when you achieve them.

May any who has been imprisoned unjustly be released and their honour returned to them.
