''Akpi was granted bail by the court according to his lawyers. The Police refused to comply with the order of the court. As a lawyer, the next step would've been the lawyer filing contempt proceedings against the Police to commit them to prison. Akpi's lawyers are yet to file contempt proceedings in any court in Nigeria. I think there is misinformation somewhere. Somebody is not telling us the truth''
