Police Officer Reportedly Gbenshes His Way Out Of This World

 Lawal Ibrahim, a police inspector from the Kwali Division, was found dead at a hotel in Gwagwalada after allegedly gbenshing with one Maryam Abba, a woman he met on the Internet. 

The incident occurred on Thursday morning when Ibrahim checked into the hotel with Maryam whom he had invited from Dutse, Jigawa State. 

After their gbenshing, Maryam noticed that Ibrahim’s breathing became erratic, and he stopped responding.. She reportedly tried to use water to revive him but he did not respond so she raised the alarm, and the hotel manager contacted the police. Ibrahim was later confirmed dead at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital

She was arrested, and several items, including watermelon, a suspected aphrodisiac drug, a phone charger, and the officer’s identity card were recovered from the scene.
