The Oba of Benin, Ewuare II, has directed the chiefs, priests, and priestesses of various deities in the Benin Kingdom to place curses on those who misuse and abuse the kingdom's revered customs and traditions. This includes wearing sacred items like the coral bead (Ikele), Eben (ceremonial sword), and Okuku (Queens' headgear) inappropriately during ceremonies and miuse of the ADA and EBEN symbols....
