Ga people originated from Ile Ife, Some Ga people(Tabon) are freed slaves from Brazil, who originated from the Yoruba tribe.
ReplyDeleteApart from the Ga people, another Yoruba group in Ghana is the Brimah tribe.They are the descendants of Balogun Braimo(Ibrahim) that relocated to Ghana as a result of wars in Yorubaland.
The Ooni is set to unite all Yorubas around the World, who originally migrated from Ife.

Lies! I am Ga! We migrated from Israel to Ile Ife cos of the Arab invasion. Oduduwa and clan left Egypt earlier and my ancestors later joined them for decades. We later proceed to Lome and rested a few years at the Benin Togo border,though our king (Ayi) loved the place and refused to proceed, the rest of the clan continued and settled in Ada and Accra.
