Nigerian Women Freed After 10 Months In Saudi Jail For Drug Trafficaking Charges

Three Nigerian women, named Hadiza Abba, Fatima Umate Malah, and Fatima Kannai Gamboi, were recently freed after spending 10 months in a Saudi jail on drug trafficking charges. 


They were arrested on March 5, 2024, at Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah.
 Their release was achieved through extensive diplomatic and legal efforts, and the trio are awaiting immigration processes to return to Nigeria ......

  15. From the post, they were not found guilty by any court. SA is very strict with drug charges so perhaps, their case was not solid enough for the Sharia court. Gumi was held up for a number of years and then cleared and compensated also.
