The decision was made in response to concerns about some practitioners allegedly aiding criminal activities by providing charms and amulets for crimes like armed robbery and kidnapping. The government hopes that registration will help monitor and regulate these practices more effectively.
What are your thoughts on this regulation?
We now finally believe say juju dey true true
ReplyDeleteIs a welcome development, most of this native doctor are dangerous.they aid and prepare bullet charms for arm robbers and kidnappers
ReplyDeleteI don't think this will work.
ReplyDeleteWe now have digital native doctors competing with the men on suit at the pulpit. It's a welcome development but I doubt it will be successful. Charm and amulet are no crime when done for one's fortification against evil plotters and harm. It's an old long practice that can't be eradicated. I only condemn when the intention is for criminal purpose or inflicting damage on others.
ReplyDeleteWhat parameter will they use to know the amulet or charm is for kidnapping or arm robbery purpose? Will any native doctor caught admit his charm is for crime protection?

Clowns
ReplyDeleteAnd for ritual killings for power.
ReplyDeleteI don't think ultimatum can work. Since govt recognizes they have influence on safety and security, govt should find a way to encourage them to have a union. Let them see the benefits of having a union first. You can't get results by coercing them.
