AN IMPORTANT QUESTION

''Good morning beautiful people of SDK, please couples who got married in court. Did you wear native or English wear? Asking because we intend to have a traditional marriage with court . My man is suggesting we go with both on native but I am saying I have not seen anyone going to the court for that wearing native or jeans with top.
You people should please educate me, I also want to have the court marriage picture enlarged after it. Thank you and God bless you.''

Marriage dey inside mind..just look neat and be happy... You can frame whatever photos

INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD

I stumbled on a video of a teacher slapping a child several times while trying to teach the child in school. It broke my heart. As a mom to neurodivergent children ( children whose brain differences affect how their brain works). It breaks my heart to see how backwards the Nigerian educational system is.

The most common type of neurodivergent conditons are ASD (autism spectrum disorder) , Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). DiGeorge syndrome , Down syndrome, Dyscalculia ( difficulties with mathematics) Dyslexia ( difficulty with reading) Dysgraphia ( difficulty with writing), Dyspraxia ( difficulty with coordination), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Sensory procesding disorder and many more.
I am not saying the child in the video is neurodivergent but one thing being a mother to one has taught me is patience. Every child’s learning abilities is not the same and because we have a general standard of judging a child’s abilities based on their ability to read and write and also their mathematical skills especially in the early years ( nursery and primary school) it’s easy to get frustrated and term a child dull, which is usually not the case, the child in question hasn’t just found a learning technique that would hone on his/ her strength.

Learning about my children’s neurodivergency and looking into ways to help them be the best version of themselves has opened my eyes to my own.
Yes, I am also neurodivergent. It has also opened my eyes to how non inclusive our educational system is. I really wish there is greater awareness on neurodivergency in kids, and our educational system can be completely overhauled to make room for better learning methods.

Thats a new word but i think i was also one...Everything changed one afterthey almost ended me with flogging on my bum....My brain reset immediately...I still dont like to remember this.....Thanks for teaching us about things we dont know

FROM MONDAY SPONTANEOUS MORNING POST
''Good morning bvs, I know today is not Thursday Q&A, but it's very urgent, I want to start okrika business, I saw someone selling UK ladies mix bale and said it's good for starters, while another person said I should not start with bail, I should go to Super instead to pick different kinds of clothes.
Please people that are into okrika business, which one will you prefer I start with, and can you connect me to trusted people that sell good bail if I should start with bail, thanks very much.:::

why didnt you ask the people who advised you to give you contactß Is it not better you have someone you can arrest if anything goes wrong?
Since you dont have a customer base, why dont you start small and see how it goes.....

FROM MONDAY SPONTANEOUS MORNING POST
Hello Stella! Hello BVs! Good morning!
I want to drop this here.
Why is it a condition for a surrogate mother to birth through CS?
I'm having the intention of being a surrogate mother because I need the money but all I've come across keep reiterating that delivery is strictly through CS. I can't afford that everlasting pain that never finishes.

All the women that carried babies for people birthed through CS?
The mothers that carried Kim Kardashian's babies birthed through CS?
The ones that have done surrogacy here in Nigeria are all through CS?
I can't do it.. I can't stand the after pains and everything that comes with it.
If it's my child I know it's my child and that's the prize I'll pay for it.

Hmmmmm......i cant stand this CS topic right now...

WEIRDFACTS
--In a room with 23 people, there's a 50/50 chance of at least two people having the same birthday
In a room with 75 people, there's a 99.9% chance

--Diurnation (noun):
The act of sleeping during the day

--Nervous laughter, tears of joy, and wanting to squeeze something because it's too cute are examples of "dimorphous expressions," your brain's attempt at trying to regulate an intense emotion

--Other people hear a higher version of your voice than you do because you're hearing it resonate through your bones

@intending couple, you and your man can wear corporate dress or wedding gown and suits, I have not seen any couple wear native to registry before.

    2. My Dear, I birthed through CS and by the end of the 2nd Day when I was discharged, it was little or no pain. I made sure not to stress myself. In a week, I could barely see the cut THOUGH my cut area was under the belly. Ask the Intending parents to find you a good OBGYN who does a clean job.

Finally commit all to God. You will be fine.

  10. When you find the right woman who truly and sincerely loves you, please treasure and keep her very well. DO NOT hurt her feelings or treat her badly. They're rare to come by in this generation.

Just like someone rightly said, ''the decade that ended 2010 has ladies well trained, high morals and respect for themselves. If you are fortunate to have them, you can testify. The rise of yahoo boys around 2014 gave us ladies with lost identities. Fruits that are being harvested from that era are poisons to men's soul.''

I quite agree to a very large extent over this with what I have seen so far in recent times.

As a man, whatever you do in this life, marry right.

    2. Yes Joy surrogates birth through CS. The reason is because they don’t want the surrogates blood to mix with the baby’s. This is also why earlier HIV positive mums don’t birth through CS so they can ensure they have babies that are HIV negative. Though I heard that has been reversed now because there are medicines that can wipe out the virus at initial infection

    3. It's to avoid "stories that touch the heart":
"She was on her way to the market and boom, went into labor".
"The helpers during forceful delivery, stole one of the twins".
"The young girl couldn't push further, we're sorry we lost her or the baby".
      A lot of stories.

Learnt it 22 years ago when an older sis used surrogates twice for 2 sets of twins.

It's even the current thing for working class ladies,go on leave, resume with baby on board stickers on your back windows.
Some staff or relations go dey cry.
      Duuhhh!

      Delete
    4. Ha!!!! I believe that’s quite unfair to ask of the surrogates. Just doesn’t make sense to me. Except test comes out to show there’s so sort of infection in the surrogates, CS is just an extreme. Do they actually forget that CS is actually regarded as major surgery?

  15. Surrogate mum, I think they opt for elective CS so that the chances of losing the baby would be low. You know you won't wait till you go into labour, the doctor just gives you a date and you go for it.
Apart from the pains of CS, the scar is also there but sometimes, CS birth can be better than Vbirth. The kind of complications that arise during or after a Vbirth can only be shared by those who experienced these complications. So if you really need the money, you can go for it and negotiate well.

  21. Stories from my mother's hut.

    Aunt E

Aunt E was already living with us even before I was born. She's dad"s cousin from his paternal side. She bears so much resemblance to dad that people thought she was dad"s immediate younger.

She is fair complexioned , with a straight nose and slim figure. I heard she learnt culinary kitchen from a foreign school and was a darn good one at making only foreign meals. She baked the cake when I clocked ten and I can't forget the taste of fruits embedded in the cake.

I was a carbon copy of dad and it easy to assume Aunt E was my mum. We had same skin colour, nose, slender frame. I was a precocious child. The agadi child if you must use that word.

When I clocked ten and started knowing good from evil, I once asked mum where is Aunt E's husband. My mum was stone stunned. And frozed in her footstep.

Mum looked at my inquisitive face and waved me away to go wash some dishes. I started becoming curious and I eaved dropped on conversations to satisfy my curiosity.

I almost thought I was never going to know a thing about Aunt E till I clocked eleven. My breakthrough came when two of dad's siblings visited and I overhead them saying she could have forgiven him . The second sibling shouted at the first , should she forgive him because he stays in the abroad? He is an Akanawoli and she's right to dump him.

Immediately I learnt of this discovery, my mind flashed back to Onwuelo. It did a million sprint and somersaulted like the men in a kungfu combat.

I started looking for means to engage mum in a conversation again, I carefully hatched my plan with a plan B backup.

It was a day before Vaswani. I made sure that the beads on the blouse were well decorated and aligned. I took my time to work on the beads mixing the colours that suited the blouse. It was a sight to behold. Mum applauded my craft.

I seized the opportunity to strike a conversation... Mum, i began with a childlike innocence.

When professionally done In a good hospital setting, with highly sophisticated surgical equipments , I doubt you would feel that much pain.

  31. Birthing by CS reduces the chances of complications occurring. I don’t think that it is compulsory, but if it is I can see why it would be. Imagine carrying a baby for 9 months to lose it in the delivery room due to complications that could even cause the mother to lose their life too. Surrogacy is a business and protecting the asset is crucial.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Fear of complication is the reason. How can they pay for the surrogacy and still lost the baby via v-birth. CS is better option.

For daring to declare his intentions to contest for the 2027 Lagos Governorhip race, Hon Obasa has been impeached and guess who replaced him? Hon Moji Ojora as I rightly predicted. My line is buzzing mehnnn.

    1. Obasa had it coming.
Measures are being put in place to bring Seyi on board 2027 as governor.

What exactly is the cause of the fire??? Many conspiracy theories are floating around the especially about the Insurance companies.
My best wishes to the people affected.

    2. Even supporters who went to visit Hon Obasa got arrested. Hian.

      Anony bring your ears closer,
Forensic and other evidence in the P Diddy case all wiped.

Fire is definitely influenced by chemical or worst, surprising how it boycotted places of Santa Barbara and headed to Los Angeles.

One thing is clear. It is the forces of nature but THE 'gods' are angry.

  41. It's really embarrassing when your child is the only different one in your environment. The stares, questions, unsolicited advice (some with good intentions though).... I love her so much, but I don't enjoy taking her out. It's really tiring.

  42. Hello ihn😘❤️
    Good afternoon everyone.

Motherhood poster thanks so much, I learnt something new from your write-up.

I never knew surrogate moms give birth only through CS. I'm sure this is to reduce infant mortality rate but then again the pains and scars of the process does it worth the money🤔🤔

Intended couple, I think it is better to dress corporate for the court weddimg then traditional for the traditional wedding. It's your day please make it beautiful. I wish you all the best.

Bvs enjoy the rest of your day.
    E go surely be ✌️

  43. Catarrh....pls lemme ooo
Poster on okrika business...pls, dnt start with bale now..Study ur area well...if u see they like cheap things..u can start with clearance(I know some people dat gives last grade of bale as clearance and they are not rags)..

U need to have a very good knowledge on how to grade clothes.. very important

U can also start with slot( sharing of bale for different people but dnt expect all to be 1st grade oo...they share it equally as d bale runs)but if u are good with sales...u can make ur profit with selling only d first and probably second grades of d slot..

If u have studied d business well and gather much customers..then u can start by buying quarter or half bale...then gradually..u move to buying a full bale.. Picking is also nice(u get to select your choice of wears) but it's more expensive than a lot..

I still buy in slots till I can afford to buy quarter or half bale...

    Good afternoon everyone 😍🥰

Thrift business is a good business but for starter you have to start small, go to super very early for nice first grades pickup and sell.

  48. I worked as a cleaner in one hospital for a week and left when I couldn't deal with their shenanigans again, I gave them 3 days notice and the head nurse said I should drop my account details for the admin on following Monday which wasn't possible due to transportation fee, I dropped my account number for my colleague to give the admin instead, because the admin wasn't around like four days before I left, they've paid everybody excluding me, I needed to find their official numbers online and called them, the nurses said I should send my account details which I did on last Friday and today, now the nurse said the Manager said he will not pay me until I come to the hospital by myself and give them my account details in person.
I'm not even in Lagos for now, I'm in another far city learning a skill which I won't finish until May or June, and if I observe how things are there, I may not go back to Lagos again which I told the nurse, she said that's what the manager said that even if it's June, that's when he will pay me, what if I don't go back to Lagos, that means I won't collect my salary again.
I'm thinking of calling the hospital out on all social media, because I hate cheating with all my heart.

  49. The bv that wants to sell okirika, start small by hand-picking to test the market before buying bale, you need to be sure that the business will move well on your part. Also, to get good bales is by luck. Most times, it is what I ordered versus what I got. It is not advisable to start with bale until you have mastered the business and gotten good contacts to buy from.

For the records, to avoid stories that touches the heart oh...
One good thing about CS is, if you're lucky to have a good body that heals fast from any injury , e don set for you be that.
Good luck with your decisio btw.
Motherhood thank you for this educative piece.

  54. That sign out meme is for me, I enjoy my own company that I don't usually miss people's absences.
I'm someone that loves reading a lot, before the existence of smart phones, I would read hard copy novels, news papers, articles, in fact anything readable, whether I was traveling, selling for my mom, even inside the toilet.
But now that there's smart phone, my smart phone is my company, I read everything readable there, and don't even feel if I'm among people or not, I'm used to solitude.
