Nollywood Yoruba actor, Yomi Fabiyi, alleges that late singer, Mohbad’s brother, Adura Aloba, demanded N3 million from him in exchange for a video of the singer and his wife, Wunmi, fighting before his death.
Fabiyi said, “At about 4:23pm, Adura Aloba, Mohbad’s younger brother had sent me a DM after listening to me for a while and reacting in the comment section.
“When he realised, I may not see the DM on time, he wrote in the comment section, asking I check my DM.
“He offered to give me a video recording of a fight that ensured between the late singer Mohbad and his wife, Wunmi.
“He demanded for N3 million. He went further to convince me by narrating how the altercation between his brother and his wife resulted in Mohbad failing off the stairs and hitting his head on the floor.
“Something that can equally be linked to the bent neck in the late singer’s casket.”
He said he demanded to see proof if the video existed and Mohbad’s younger brother sent him a 3-seconds partly censored video.
The actor said when he previewed the video, there was a violent argument in the background.
He said he sent a petition to the Lagos State Police Criminal Investigation Department but was later invited and told that Mohbad’s brother was being impersonated.
Fabiyi said he discovered during his visit to the police that the investigation into Mohbad’s death was not harmonised.
Mohbad tragically passed away in a controversial manner in September 2023

ReplyDeleteSo this ‘evidence’ is being shopped for profit, his brother’s death is worth a measly 3 million. Why was that video not shown to the authorities from the moment he received it. Unless it is merely another red herring, adding to the long list of them since this saga began.
