Legal Icon Afe Babalola Withdraws Defamation Suit Against Lawyer Dele Farotimi After Royal Intervention.

Legal Icon Afe Babalola, the founder of Afe Babalola University, has agreed to withdraw his defamation suit against activist and lawyer Dele Farotimi after a meeting with the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, and other prominent traditional rulers.


He filed the suit after Farotimi's accusations in his book, 'Nigeria and its Criminal Justice System' but after several appeals from notable figures, including former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Bishop Hassan Kukah, Babalola decided to drop the case...
