Gospel Singer Mercy Chinwo's Ex Manager Reacts To All The Recent Allegations She Heaped On His Head

Gospel artist Mercy Chinwo's former record label boss Ezekiel ThankGod aka Eezee Conceptz has reacted to her recent emotional statements where she alleged that he was using bloggers to tarnish her image.
Taking to his Instagram page to defend himself, he wrote;
"What do you expect from someone who can perfectly imitate the voice of a child and it sounds so real like she's the child, she's a fantastic actress. I need to set a few records straight.

This is more than two years now, there's been a lot of challenges and disputes behind the scene, I've not seen the need to come out and discredit any of my artist cause I feel it's stupidity to fight your products, it doesn't make any sense, why would you want to sabotage your investments, only stupid people will destroy what God has used them to build but when it got to a point where it became gross dimension of intimidation and my life being at risk,still for the love of the body of Christ, i made efforts to see how the issue would be resolved and I can state some significant facts to This event.

I met a Pastor of mine, I was a baby drummer at his church in Porthacourt.We had a meeting regarding this matte, we also had a meeting with the wife of our father, Christian Pentecostal mission, regarding this matter, I was privileged to meet Bishop Humphrey and Bishop Mike Okonkwo regarding this matter.

If I didn't think about the body of Christ, I wouldn't go to all these lengths but what did I hear, "he's running everywhere to meet these people, why is he scared, he's running around" and I was like well, the bible said we should seek peace with all men, this is the prescription of the scripture, let us deal with this issues inside, it makes no sense that we are washing our dirty linens outside but everytime I put forward my approach towards peaceful negotiation, it was seen as a weakness, it looked like this guy is a weak person until I heard a statement that really got me sad when one of the Pastors said stop bothering about the body of Christ, we would deal with you ND the body of Christ would be okay.
It was then that I knew it was a scripted and orchestrated witch-hunting.

I don't have issues with people wanting to open their own labels, we have thousands within the Christain space but do you need to put one down for yours to grow? Is that the life of Christ, what are we talking g about here? It's money!. I thought what we were doing before now is kingdom ministry and money is not involved.I've been an advocate for the balance of Ministry and industry because I e way or the other, you are denying you don't have any business with money but you're benefitting financially from your craft so there's a Financial tone majorly to all of these.

I have to clear a few things.

Number 1(shows screenshot of document) here's a document that was written against me around March, my accounts were frozen, I couldn't trace where it was coming from until I got a confidential information that it was a few set of persons that were doing these; two female artists and they didn't want the public to know because it had being planned to look like this law enforcement agency on their own are carrying out investigations, they tried to cover it.

It beats my imagination how one would deny a document , deny her signature on every page of the document and also deny the living witnesses to the execution of that document.This person were talking about is somebody who is a fantastic actress, she has a lot of strength with portraying a victim personality to the world.Talent is because but talent is not enough.How did you say I took you to court when the dates are there so look at the dates when the petition was written, I was in Ilorin not in Lagos, why Ilorin?, that's a completely different state out of the state of competent jurisdiction and then I was detained for nine days, why did I stay that long? Because I needed to write on the statement what they wanted me to write and I had to negotiate this same catalogue that they are saying is not the battle.

When I came out of detention, I didn't go public, I didn't bother to talk about it, I didn't want to create an impression that these ladies who always sing about Jesus...

I've never been opposed to any financial audit, what I said was let's have a neutral unbiased entity who understands all the navigations within the ecosystem of the industry, atleast the modus operandi, I really wanted the audit to happen cause that's the only way I would also be vindicated but we also need to check your own books, you can go to equity when your hands are not clean and later on, whomever is owning who would balance up themselves.Whether you like it or not, an obligation is an obligation, you cannot claim amnesia of a document you benefitted from, that was all I wanted to do to ensure that there is no further harassment .

What happened to the court she was talking about, it was a court in the last quarter of last year, having explored all peaceful means of resolution, we decided to go to the platform that the contract recommends which is arbitration , why use a Law enforcement agency to carry out oppression and harassment.Think about it, when we started, it was an investment from scratch, which manager buys a car for an artist, you have a document where you hired me as a manager , when you met Hilda Dokubo to have me sign you up, was it as a Manager? Why were you going to them for me to sign you up.


A manager buys car for you, gets you an exclusive rehearsal space, gets you an exclusive office, sets up a bank for you, pays for all of your production, whether audios or visuals. speaking about collaboration, we had a collaboration with J.J Houston, fantastic collaboration and it has benefited every one of us, why would I not want you to have a collaboration but then, shouldn't we have collaborations following die processes? I don't have a problem with you collaborating with whomever you want to collaborate, it's business but you keep to what's expected of you whilst your contract is ongoing.

Regarding the allegations of bully and all of that, anyone who knows this person we are talking about would know that you cannot bully a bully, you can find out from her roots who she's been, those who work with her closely, this is just an attempt to assassinate he character of someone. let's not go away from the real thing, if you say you're a true child if God, and am the one that's the problem, and I have financial fraud like you called it, can you tell the public that you are willing to subject your account to an audit by an independent audit, let's make these things easy, these things you're saying it's not catalogue, shebi you want to arrest for fraud of money, bring out your books, the other audits said they refuse to comply to audits, the audits they carried out was based on the documents we made available , it got to a point where they were saying that I have money in Dubai and other countries, I don't have any money in any country, he who alleges will prove, if you have any account anywhere that you know belongs to me, you can go take the account and bring it to me for us to audit but for all the informations and audit that we have, I've provided to you, what is expected of you is for you to return and if you have questions to ask anywhere, you ask the questions, we give clarifications .Don't you think there is mu h more to this than financial audit? Can't you see the undertone? A child of God would not go to all that length to destroy , you can't do ministry with bitterness and sentiments.


This is my truth and I will be consistent with it anytime.The allegations of I didn't know about this, they forged it, social media is not the platform to determine the validity of a document .There are certain informations that I would but be triggered to put out here cause it's unnecessary , there's plans for peaceful resolution, it happens in every business, whether a family business or extreme professional business, it happens, what is the due thing is if there was anything that was done by the legal that you didn't like; the court, not the law enforcement agents, we would bring out books and whoever is owing would pay up.

I hope I've been able to bring clarity to the allegations that have been put out about me, I don't have to cry or bring sentiments, all I have to do is to tell my truth in the best way that I can.

You talked about blogs, the video that just went out now, it went on different blogs, spending money on blogs because you have promised both me and the organization would go down .You said your royalties were withheld from you, I've said this in my previous video and I would say it again, you cannot divert what you've diverted.An official email was sent to you stating that there was a need for us to have mutual Financial reconciliation , let us know what you owe the label and let the label know what she owes you, then we can counterbalance but till date, you have still not made your accounts available and what you decided to do was to run straight to the police, we want your account because we are talking of transparency.There were events you went for that you didn't want people to know about unfortunately it's a small ecosystem, everybody talks to somebody, you know...Ivory coast, Cameroon , some of these meetings were not declared. there's a church in Enugu called Censers church that we have received an event on your behalf and we communicated both the money and the event to you but you didn't attend the event, the pastor was very angry, same thing happened to an event in Zambia, $7500 was paid for you as deposit to come but you decided not to go, we had to refund that(shares evidence of report).

With all of these that has happened, there was a need for us to have a sit down talk and not an oppressive or intimidating approach to resolving it and that's where it's still going to end, there would be need for you to open up your books so we can have a mutual and fantastic end.

It beats my imagination that in all of these, as sensitive as a paternity saga,that's what you want to use to put false accusations on my head, I hope you have enough evidence to prove that allegation you made because it's heartbreaking that you can go to this extent to tarnish the credibility of someone.

You have promised that you would destroy my reputation and the organization, well done! When You're done, I hope you get a crown in heaven.

I also saw the events that was held in Benin, it was specifically a time when a fellow label mate was having her birthday and part of the culture we had instituted within our ecosystem was when one person is doing something, let the others encourage the person, we try to introduce a support system where they support themselves and live happily like a family.She was supposed to be in attendance of that birthday but she said she wasn't feeling fine, ofcourse health is very important , the office received an invite wanting her to be present for a meeting in Benin, all we did was communicate what she had said to us that she wasn't feeling fine cause the event was for more than one day, we just communicated innocently based in what she said to us but somehow, they reached out to her pastor but then it's an event that came up in Benin, if you're not feeling fine to attend the birthday in Lagos, would you be able to travel to all the way to Benin and she said yes, that's she fine, that she wants to go for the even so we were shocked, you were not stoned to attend you fellow artist birthday but then you can attend an even in Benin , well, we had already communicated to this host worship and then it became an issue that why did we communicate that she wasn't feeling fine.What was I supposed to do that my artist said she's not feeling fine, should I compel get?

 If I had also said you're not feeling fine, go for the event so that you can bring money back to us, she would say Ahh! You didn't even care about my life and my health, I told you am not feeling fone and you still want me to go and sing and bring back money because you're a businessman, so I don't understand which one to do, you're not feeling fine; rest so that means you just came up with the lie of not feeling fine cause you didn't want to come to the label mate's birthday so I allowed her to do whatever she wanted to do and she attended the event, I was so shocked to hear they came with ambulance, mental illness, all of those stuff, I don't know how she came up with such extreme usage of words just to make it look like, it is stupidity for us not to allow you go for an event cause anytime you go and you're blessed, we share"
