DeleteGet small sense na. Haba. When you sign with a label and become successful l, chances are when your contract expires, you either start yours, or stay without one. E.g. wizkid, tubaba, adekunle gold, etc. if you EVER get a 50/50 deal from a record label, it’s most likely a 360 degree deal. FYI. you can NEVER be richer than your label boss/owner. Until you leave. No matter how gifted and talented you are. ( I am in the business so I know. ) I don tire to type. I for explain more.

ReplyDeleteGet your lawyer from day 1 and have your copy laminated, uploaded to your cloud storage and shared with your own next of kin. Signing a contract In a pastor's office is not the way to go. The pastor is the father of your record label owner and that same contract has now been doctored so who can hold man of God? How does a pastor keep a contract and not give you a copy?
